  4. You still have this car? I run a gt2871r as well on my 5E. Stock bottom end. I did a 2nd gear pull and logged it via the EMs-4 and read 19psi and hog rich on pump gas as well. (RUBIS) but quickly ran out of road. Boost starts around 3 and really kicks in around 4.5k rpms all the way to redline. With these Garretts, the boost doesn't spike like a CT9. It's more of a linear progression where the boost follows the RPM. I'm not sure if others have the same results.
  5. Glanza managed to make it's first show in 5ish years Japfest was mega car was spot on up and back happy with how its looking for now. engine is now run in due for oil and filter change then chose what ecu I'm going to use.
  6. We are situated Number 13 please make sure you all pint out your parking passes for stand cheers nick
  7. Hi all looking for the part number or a set of bonnet gas struts.if I remember there was a group buy many years ago looking to see if there's any around to buy or part number and length of strut I will make the brackets if needs be. Thank you Luke
  8. Thanks dude it's a forever car this one to sentimental to me now to give up.
  9. Dreams come true bud, so happy to see this back in the road!
  10. Not enough lol. 280-300bhp is where they die.
  11. Few more miles 148 into 250 oil and filter change then 500 miles oil and filter. Get it remapped.
  12. Well been 7 years in the last year the starlet got a 6 speed box from a g6 e11 corolla did the timing belt waterpump service general maintenance to ensure hassle free driving . I turned 25 and was to my believe that I could get a vintage insurance policy but unfortunately after getting on every crowd around I could only get insurance privately which cost way more but none the less the car is currently my daily for tipping over to work and back and I'm loving it been 9 years of ownership always wanting to drive this car on the road and we are finally at that stage will get more recent pictures
  13. Took it for it's mot today passed with flying colours. It's taxed and back on the road. Time to run the engine in and enjoy it. It's been way to long so happy now.
  14. Didn't make it to the mot pulled out of a junction and it died no fuel pressure at all 3pm that happened got recovered at 9pm. Had a look today turns out the wiring harness inside the fuel tank for the pump had failed cut and re crimped heat shrink and it's running again. Mot is booked again for the 12th of Feb
  15. its a great example of a true starlet owner i hope at some point once i pull my finger out and sort mine we could arrange a little road trip to really test the cars out
  16. Mot has been booked for the 27th of this month. One last nut and bolt check in the next week or so. Can't wait to run the engine in and use the thing it's been way to long.
  17. Spent the day out at the car today plugging away at it checking things over. Think I'm ready for mot now.
  18. ah cool feller its nice to see one still being looked after i hopefuly getting mine sorted this year as sat in the garage for 11 years lol not moved
