  1. yeah, be careful, and merry christmas and a starletty new year
  2. Broke the link between the anti roll bar and the lower control arm, so need new ones - on both sides! so car's gonna be off the road until I get a replacement for them
  3. some some vinyl on the outside, make it look like the old rally corrollas just on a starlet, you got a white one, so its a good start!
  4. Good lad , you better not forget this time!
  5. well my attempt wasn't so successful as people on tgtt may have read, so my cars off the road until thats done now
  6. about £300 I think. Its designed to keep the air con. Autofixed also do a fmic, but that requires removal of air con I'm afraid. I wanted to keep aircon, or at least have the option, so went for WEPR.
  7. A lot of jap cars it is. In japan most places don't sell FCD on their own. usually come with fuel controllers too, as mentioned, they trick the ecu by raising the limit, so although you're running say 15psi, the ecu is only fueling for 13.5psi (or whatever the cut off is) which is where a rrfpr, ecu or fuel controller come into play. As mentioned its there to protect the engine, so best not remove it unless other mods are also applied to compensate. It's also not a good idea to keep hitting fuel cut either when it is there.
  8. I just use my right foot. but also a HKS actuator.
  9. Happy birthday, better late then never eh?
  10. looks soo clean. keep wondering if I should paint mine or polish it
  11. got any tips for fitting it? Wanna do mine this weekend, apparently the original castors are hard to get off?
  12. I'll go on the stand at JAE again was only there for the saturday this year and the weather was good then Japshow I'll go on the tgtt stand again, and japfest I'll go with whoever, my cars a slut, will go on any stand to expose itself
  13. I use the Origin B2, its usually rated quite high, and I must say its helped save my licence a couple of times! As for GPS, I've not got a system myself, but borrowed a friends tom tom once, it was good at navigating even if i did lead to the wrong place but it got there in the end, and I used a dated version (about 3 years out of date) - probably loads better now. The important thing is to keep them updated.
  14. 22/1/2006, 2pm arrival This time! Rownhams services, Westbound on the M27, between Junction 4+3.
  15. I hate the look of the early corsa's the newer ones are alright though. at least its got a decent engine!
  16. Robbo

    who?

wouldn't end up with anymore then a standard starlet GT turbo I'd imagine
  17. skyline R34 style headlamps would look good on a ep91 looking at that zep pic.
  18. it's a nice blue, dark unless the light is on it, i think
  19. I don't like the S2000, maybe I'm weird.
  20. good idea for the winter wheels, make sure you put on some appropiate winter tyres too! to cope with the wet greasy roads. I agree with spraying them white too! although winter wheels usually = dirty so might be a nightmare to keep them white.
  21. i noticed in my GT in all the japanese writing on the inside of the bonnet on the stickers it occasionally had 10w-30. this suggests to me what toyota reccomends for a starlet turbo in japan, so its a good basis on what to put in here. i'm not sure how thin the cold start oil can be without having it leak and get everywhere, personally i wouldnt go under 5w. and top no more then 50. I've just done mine using semi synthetic castrol rs 10w-40 and it seems to be fine so far. not sure what i had in there before as toyota put it in. another note: you only need 2-3ltrs max for the starlet. i com
  22. I'm getting a wepr fmic, $400-500 (which is cheap considering the exchange rate) and with pipes built for direct bolt on to the starlet
  23. correct! but if set up right a fcd+rrfpr will do the same job as a ECU.
