Yeah I got forged engine mate apparently it's because when cold the pistons have a bigger clearance for expansion when they get hot. Don't quote me on that though I'm sure somebody will correct me if im wrong

Where are all the vac lines connected? I'm sure I've checked them all and I don't have air con bud. Yep checked the idle control valve on the drivers side of the inlet manifold so confused s to what it could be!

Okay blocked the pipe off into the inlet and there's no change whatsoever in idle so that rules that one out aswel, really stumped no what it could be! Anybody got any ideas?

which pipe the vacuum off the bottom or the one that goes into the inlet?

okay I have taken the bottom off cleaned it all out cleaned all of the throttle body off, and its still idleing high, any other ideas? I have also cleaned the ICV but it did appeare to be broken around the ring also would this be causing it?

How do I go about checking the timing?

Nope, LEDS do not respond well to changes in voltage so will all blow and flicker very quickly, I ended up having all of them flickering or not working within a day or two, then just bought plasma dials. If you are going to do it anyway, I would recommend getting the square LEDs as normal ones are very directional and it leaves you with bright spots everywhere too.

Cars been idleing funny for a bit now, idles around 2k but when driving if I take it out of gear and just roll then the revs will drop to 1k and go up to 2k then drop to 1k and keep repeating this over and over every few seconds, and I noticed the other day that oil has been coming out of my dizzy possibly? here's a pic Could this be the cause for my idle issue? what do I need to replace? it has covered just about everything beneath it with oil

Obviously taking the piss! Andsibaru turbo that is commonly put on starlets is td04 so please enlighten us what turbo he was talking about as most people won't know any other turbo from a scooby
