  1. sorry for bumping up an old thread but still needing help on this, have replaced my actuator, that didn't fix it, have taken off the turbo and checked for shaft p[lay and there is minimal play less than 1mm. and I'm 99% sure it isn't a leak from my intercooler pipework. does anybody have any other ideas what could be causing this? getting so frustrating now!
  2. Incase anybody was interested I have taken on board everyone's advice and can now confirm that it has restored my headlights, and it is also lemon scented which has refreshed my taste buds too and can recommend this to everyone.

  5. Yes standard mani but my mate was gonna get me a nut from work tomorrow if I tell him the size
  6. Noticed today that my car only has 3 of the 4 nuts holding the turbo to the manifold and is only boosting at .3 bar until 5k revs where it eventually boost to .6 so guessing that it is because of this? Anybody know the nut size so I can get a new one?
  7. Cheers for your help guys ill give him a call, but if it was the release bearing would I not be having the same problem with 5th?
  8. looks so good and that spoiler suits it down to the ground!
  9. it was fitted around 4 months ago and has been fine for ages, but now it's really struggling! I can't put my foot down because changing gear becomes impossible!
  10. not had the clutch in long maybe 4 months, its a spec clutch from tuning developments, my box seems to be on it's way out as I struggle with first second and third they can be very stiff to get out of gear. But when it's idleing if I flick the clutch out fast in neutral it starts making a knocking noise. but if I let it out slowly still in neutral it wont make the noise? somebody has said it could be the release bearing but it's barely done any miles. Car is running exhaust and front mount but stock boost pressure and I just don't believe that 140bhp has killed this clutch already.
  11. personally I wouldn't want to risk building a forged engine yourself if it's something you've never done before, I'd just wait save up a bit more cash and go to the professionals, if it was that easy then they would be out of a job. Just my opinion others may think different.
