seriously? I was actually intending on using for launching lol going santa pod on the 18th january so wanted a little advantage haha and I dont like driving like a granny off traffic lights in 1st gear cause of spinning the whole way
-
looking into this seeing as its only £120 or so, where exactly does it wire in? Have read a few bad things about launch control damaging engines etc, apparently the omex isnt as bad as the bee-r, but what's peoples experiences and opinions? cheers

Rotational assembly balancing, worth it?
EPnick22 replied to EPnick22's topic in 4E-FTE Engine Discussions
im getting it rebuilt cause my bore notches werent big enough on the ehxaust side of the engine so my rods were skimming the bores which is probably why, cause the only big end that wasnt fucked was the rod that had sufficient clearance (can see the slight lines on the other rods from where it was hitting) thats my theory anyway and same from a few others -
Rotational assembly balancing, worth it?
EPnick22 replied to EPnick22's topic in 4E-FTE Engine Discussions
i was thinking the same and have been told this by a few people, the crank and flywheel have already been balanced so there is no need for that, only the pistons and rods. this is just what i was told -

the sticker easily sticks back on, you dont need to peel the whole thing off, just half of it or however much to see the left over print mines still fully on there doesnt even look like its been peeled -

was looking into this, and saw a little black main ecu control box that wires into it, does this come with one? -

rah, bit of a turn off lol where abouts is your screamer exit?
-
seeing as the screamer is in the engine bay won't the gases get sucked through the vents filling the cabin with fumes? been in a car with a screamer and all I could smell was fumes lol does it all depend where the pipe is located?
