  1. so if they snap how can they handle big boost? just seems a bit weird also is there a strength difference between the OE bolts and the OE spec bolts made by Payen? Idrees sells them, I bought some for my rebuild couple months ago, glad I did now cause they only cost £30 odd lol
  2. Have seen a few stories of people snapping these when theyre fresh out the box. what really is the difference between the OE bolts and arp's? the tensile strength? what power are the OE bolts rated to?
  3. ahhhh this is 80 miles from meeeeee and I get paid tomorrow whyyyyy do I have an engine to rebuild must......resist.....
  4. so youre not selling the teins anymore? see them for sale on tgtt last night
  5. bought the exedy paddle clutch he was selling a couple days ago, had it sent out yesterday and now its here very good communication, fast delivery, good guy
  6. yeah man the boost gauge I have is cool, can change it to a selection of 7 colours ;) or if youre real rice you can have all the colours fade into each other hahaa, just checked and theyre in the sale down to £12 for the boost gauge, its PSI reading though but I prefer that
  7. lol bring on the ripspeed digs aye! depends which gauge it is, the boost gauge which is always in stock is £25 rrp, we get them trade for around £15, I have one in mine the other gauges are all special order items im looking into an oil press and temp once im paid
  8. I work at halfords they order them in every now and then, they do all kinds of gauges too such as TIM gauges which dont look too bad either
  9. a good way of finding out if its genuine is by peeling the sticker off and it will leave the print "void", which is the genuine sticker
  10. mwahaha clutch is mine
  11. nah mate my camera is at my mum's house what would you look for in the picture? the little line on the rod where it's skimmed the bore?
  12. anyone? I need to know if this is the cause
  13. update time....... had a real inspection of my rods today, and the notches in my block. the notches on the inlet side have a decent amount taken out, howeverrrrrr, the notches on the exhaust side havent got as much taken out. EACH rod has a fine line going across the top of the big end (where the rods would hit if there were no notches ). would the rods skimming the bores cause me to spin a shell?
  14. Ive been on their site a lot, all their prices are cheap, yeah, but all their prices are excluding VAT until you actually go through to the payment if youre buying it, its a bit deceiving to be fair, and when I emailed them asking for their vat number (wanted to know if they were a proper company) they replied asking why I wanted it, when I told them I wanted to know if they had the right to add VAT they didnt reply to me, even though they had SEEN the message, seems a bit dodgy...
  15. sorrrrrry dude just interested in the engine, i meant the engine build silly me for not making it clear
  16. how many miles has the engine covered? have you got receipts for the whole build? if so then I'll definitely be interested in the next month if its still here, once I have the money
