Haha everyones different ill grant you, i sold my last one whole simply cause i could make more money working during the time and effort involved in breaking. and working was a sure thing, breaking is subject to buyers, demand, competition etc. Phil

yes should say like any horn button it finds its home in boss just as stock momo does. Phil

agreed guy is such a guru legend, love him bet though if you were staring at 6months to break and sell your car in parts and undo all the work you've done and answer 10billion messages from folk wanting you turbo for half the advertised price? then you'd be right to consider any offer thats half reasonable, id say 8k in your hand zero hassle would be sorely tempting (obviously bearing in mind you would have to come to a point where you want rid) Phil

i replied to your PM there. Just to add though, the spec you showed me there, that ecu is worth 150/200 and the turbo kit 350/400 so not mega parts. providing the engine is good ten yes its worth 1500. Phil

5k would get you a decent example. but for something that has done miles and proved to be a perfectly sound setup you would have to compete with the money that can be made from breaking. ie you gotta be prepared to pay the cost of parts. Forged Engine 1500 ECU 1000 Turbo kit 1000 Car 1500 mint exhaust 500 mint injectors 200 Jap wheels & top brand tyres 500 good branded Coilovers 500 Good brand LSD+Box 500 +the million other smaller things (engine mounts/bushes/injectors/sensors) 1000 Thats about 8.5/9k just off the top of my head. (and not a mental spec either

Someone could still be desperate! you never know when someone could come along, leave it up just incase, and drop the price if someone makes you an offer sure. Phil

Agreed worth more than what it will sell for. Phil

just backing up from the closed throttle body and being re hashed by the inducer blades. Phil

dump valve/no dump valve no big issue. run a td04 1bar or touch more and a good tune and you'll be sweet. Phil
-
yup MattyD, your mates onto abit of a loser with a rebuilt box. really only worth doing if you going to make use of it yourself given how much they cost. Phil

Think Chris put a link g4 storm in one over here. It was def in a td04'd yaris that Chris tuned previous, will have to check did it definitely go on a EP afterwards. this is my car first start on EMS stinger. >http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jG5HeL_k2Wg&list=UUOjk6QirjvZQy5ajGEqHASg Phil

Depends where/when the engine starts to knock, get it well set up and see how far it can be safely taken. whats sort of fuel you running? Phil
-
somebody must be looking to take a td04 setup abit further Bump Phil

td04 all the time. if you dont mind abit of revs they are easy kept on the boil and wont drop of boost between gear changes unless you want it to. 240hp Td04 is lovely and a different animal altogether than a 180hp ct9. Phil

x2 big old blitz single solenoid. or an ancient greddy profec again big single solenoid. no idea why but i hate using and setting up anything by HKS, so out of the jap stuff id go Blitz (single) or Greddy (old) Phil EDIT just realised Rob is recommending the Dual solenoid, whoops ive no experience of that one.
