  1. yes man i see what you mean. either way this particular EP91 MAY be the fastest since it was never tested we have no idea. no basis to say it is, but its just a magazine article not Ryans own claims. It was the highest power output i think? Phil
  2. Never proven and without big changes to spec no real chance. Spuddys was the fastest. think seans is still fastest 1/4time. Phil EDIT This
  3. thing is most ep's civics etc look like boy racers cars. and a high proportion are driven like a boy racer would. Number plate moved from the stock position, larger body kit, tacky wheels, stickers, lairy colour wheels, swapped seats, HID kit, laguna splitter, cupra splitter, big ass exhaust, bonnet the wrong/different colour. what can we expect? also you may think that a boy racer is someone with a corsa/saxo 1.0litre but after a year or two these fellas trade up buy a EP/Civic/ibiza. Police are right to see them as the same, we speed and make noise, just because ou

  6. yup too true. hard to get money for complete cars these days. id take it, braking is well, nasty, especially if you've only one EP. you'll end up with a shed/garage full of ep tat you dont need. Phil
  7. you show me those picture and then ask that ?!! where do i join the queue lol class work. actually in the process of doing the same to my own brakes atm otherwise id take you up on that, but i can certainly appreciate the effort put in! keep it up. Phil
  8. Cheers will have to get a few better 'overview' pictures taken to give a feel of where the car really has got to and how far we clearly have to go. To do list reads something like this : Paint mk1 bumper & lip Grab mk1 fog lamps from jay Fit my replacement headlights Clean inlet mani and fit Fit rocker cover Sort catch can arrangement Replace all vacuum lines with black silicone Buy an ABS coolant bottle Grind bottom rad bracket off and properly fit alloy civic rad Order new st165 carrier clips Order st165 rebuild kit Rebuild st165 calipers Buy and fit new '93 non abs rear discs and pads
  9. Gt4 st165 twin pots Getting there In etch primer Will get them finished black or gunmetal next time I've a free minute. Discs also cleaned up but no pictures whoops. Phil
  10. I plan to start hillclimbs ASAP My friends hillclimb a Subaru 550hp and Westfield 300ish so hopefully be using the gt turbo this year or next soon as I've spare money and a roadworthy car Phil
  11. Quoted for truth. Patience is key. Also if you buy secondhand parts and pride yourself on maintaining or improving their condition during your ownership then your guaranteed to to make your purchases make money. Phil
  12. whenever More likely the bolder of the two words. lol Phil
  13. Hmm good luck with the rail issue man. setup wise. 4efte forged (CP/Scat/ACL/etc) Greddy td05 14b Zisco topmounted ex.gated WEPR fmic HKS silent hipower EMS stinger standalone Greddy EBC Quaife LSD this list is far from exhaustive but ive grown bored of writing it out. leads/fpr/plugs/steering wheel/Buddyclub wheels etc all present also. lol wont make mental power, at least no surprises, but turbo is rated to 2bar so no issues there. from past experience power will depend largely on fuel (quality/inj.cc/pressure) and compression. Phil
  14. Apexi EL2 boost gauge and a HKS mount bought. Also talking my pal Anthony into swapping this nice GI bonnet onto my car And yes this thread is really all about my slippers Phil
  15. Cheers big ears they are very comfortable. Move it as necessary man no issue. Cheers, ill get some better pictures if i ever get a decent phone the iphone4 is poop in the camera department. Not sure, but 1.4/5/6bar to see where the power is at, will be mapped by Chris Carson so the best bit is he will probably map it on and off for a while to see what suits the turbo/complete setup best. I have the NOS kit out, and stock inlet on. not certain on compression as we didnt spec it or build it. will see where is starts to knock on normal fuel and take it from there. Phil
  16. you better believe it though the old gt advance look good from far but far from good. but when washed it looked awesome on the road. Phil
