    Valve stem seals

ive just fitted them to my head. 5.97mm(or something) stem in twimcam supra starlet. so fit the stem and slot on to the valves guide crown perfectly. id say anyone who thinks they are running zisco stem seals are using these. wonder where/who actually makes them? probably somewhere in china. supertech 4age ones are the same as zisco ones and less than half the price. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Supertech-Intake-Exhaust-Valve-Seals-Set-Toyota-4A-GE-4A-GZE-AE86-MR2-3S-GTE-/290775977117?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item43b3994c9d Phil

  12. Same here, does a great price on parts. Worked out cheaper than even getting from sam@Speedvision and he has been the cheapest for Ep engine parts forever Phil
  13. Couldn't agree more Adam Unless you know what the cams are exactly and what they do back to back against stock and can see a worth while gain you'd be better working with the stockers Stockers are 100% reliable to which is a massive plus! Get them tensioned right, times right and you can't go far wrong Phil

  16. no. if they did they would be 1 billion pounds. you wont beat wiseco (410£) and Maxspeedingrods (240?) for price and quality is grand. Phil
  17. id say much much the same as other here, sam@speedvision had a bad batch but i wouldnt let that put you off now. i had one of his very first sets way back when for testing and ive recently got two sets into N.Ireland for myself and my friend (Karl.) on here and tgtt. as for why bother, i guess its to do with the easiest way around 4efte head restrictions. a port polish bigger valves and stock cams would probably be your best possible solution along with a td04 hyrbid for 300hp. really just depends what you want. cams can change things any number of ways. less torque/more peak hp or whatever. massive boost/solid bottom end would be the easiest route to big power. and yield the best torque to hp ratio. for something more group B style you want some slight lairy cams and a td05, make sure you get the peak hp and the whole lag/boost arrival experience getting there! lol Phil
