  1. I thought the same thing too, but the w/g doesn't need to be welded. I got a bracket made up to hold the w/g closed.
  2. I used to have a mechanical gauge but changed it for an electrical one. Theres always the possibility of the pipe splitting or rubbing through and causing damage aswell as a mess whereas if a cable splits, its easily fixed.
  3. Depends on your budget and whether you want something subtle or something with disco lights. I've got Stack gauges and their spot on.
  4. I would have thought it would be the other way round? Blue - Intake Brown - Exhaust
  5. Think so. Yeah I remember being in the car park and you came cruisin in in the landy lol
  6. I'm up for a meet, there hasn't been one for a while.
  7. It wasn't me, I've been working on the car all day.
  8. Outlet on standard radiator is 28mm
  9. It looks like a ct9 flange has been welded onto the td04
  10. Yeah it will be fine. I have 1 thats smoothed and polished.
  11. If you can get them done professionally for cheap enough then that would be best but you can still get a good finish and save money doing it yourself. I did a set of wheels myself a while ago, just rubbed them down then used primer and black paint from halfords. Never even used lacquer and they still looked good 2 years later.

  15. x2 for Norbar. I use them at work.
  16. Hmm never really thought about that. Should be ok though because I've never heard of anyone fitting a larger return pipe to the tank.
  17. I've got 1 but not fitted yet. I bought braided hose and fittings from here http://stores.ebay.co.uk/Torques-U-K?_trksid=p2047675.l2563 As for the return, I was just going to use the braided hose with jubilee clips. Or you could just use rubber hose from the FPR to return line.
