  1. When I get a respray I'll most likely want the whole car wrapped in that stuff, can't have too much protection from those bleeding stones and rocks in Bryan-4E-FTE's case lol
  2. Yeh I don't want to be paying top dollar for something I can do very cheaply. I've been trying to figure out what size would be best, would you say that you would have it slightly longer like maybe 2mm more or do you think 10mm is good enough?
  3. I've been thinking for a while now about fabricating my own short shifter by using the stock shifter, has anyone on here done it, got some tips and how much have you increased the length for best results? Cheers
  4. That looks mint, I really want some grid v's but in hyper blue to go with my colour scheme.
  5. I definitely want an s15 in a few years time once my welding course is done but was thinking of maybe trying an mx5 and putting the 323 gtr engine in it. I think it would be mint but I'd still keep my glanza no matter what.
  6. They totally ruin the car which is a pain in the hoop but there is 3 things I hate more. 1. Tar 2. Bugs and 3. Bird shit. I am scared to drive my car cause I like it gleaming and it's not an easy job. What is the wrap stuff? Does it just look like lacquer?
  7. Does anyone know the value of a used one of these exhausts?
  8. My one to the gauge is all funny now too, I have checked mine and the connection just going into the connector looks like it's shot. I will have to repair this but yours is probably the same as mine. We are having pretty much the same problems at the same time lol
  9. I am really considering getting a respray at some point if I'm honest. I just hate imperfection.
  10. Oh mummy! That's bad. I thought mine were bad... Ha mine are just small but quite a lot of them. It's very annoying!
  11. I was washing my car today and it was covered with tar. When I was going over it all I noticed so many stone chips and marks. So gutting, any advice with any products that would help the little devil?
  12. I've bought Yokohama s drives so many times now and they are the best tyre for all year. In the wet they are amazing and in the dry they are even better, don't think I'd get any other tyres now. Tried toyo proxes but they are mince for British weather. Not tried uniroyals but I don't think I'll be trying them anytime soon. S drives are the way forward. Only problem is if you drive hard you'll be going through them very quickly, I had a polo gti and I went through them in 2 months. I've had my ones on my Glanza for the past 5 months on the front and they are close to the legal limit.
  13. Yeh I bought an hks exhaust system and it passed, I used to have a blitz nur spec on but I prefer this hks one. Think my cat is fucked because it passed that test by 0.01 lol it's went up compared to before. Anyway my car is road legal for another year, I'll just decat my car for now and buy another cat for the next test. I also changed my lambda and coolant temp sensors just to be safe ha

    High Idle?

I taped up the wires that go into the connector that goes onto the CTS because I noticed the wires were kind of showing so that should help the connection as well, just make sure everything is pretty much perfect looking with all your connections and stuff.

    High Idle?

Think it's like 15 quid, get it from tms or a place like that. No point paying big bucks at Toyota for it.

    High Idle?

Yeh mate, it's the green sensor under the dizzy cap. Mine is kinda still doing a wee bit of a high/funny idle still but it's definitely not as bad now, it idles max 1250rpm but before it was all the way up at 2K. I'm going to check my tps as well this weekend and that might be the last piece to the puzzle for me.
  17. I've no idea mate, now my car is all MOT'd I'm going to go to ford maybe tomorrow and see what the script is with the size and stuff. Think the Honda jazz ones are around £25 these days which is a bump!
  18. This car is so clean it should be in a starlet museum but the best part is this guy drives like a granny so you know it hasn't been abused in any way. Daniel_g can back that up also. GLWTS Roassss. Just hope it goes to someone who appreciates its cleanness.

    High Idle?

I changed my coolant temperature sensor yesterday as I've been having trouble similar to yours and I think it's sorted it out. Previously I changed the ICV and lambda sensor but didn't do anything tbh. Try the coolant temp sensor anyway mate!
  20. I think I went past you yesterday just outside buchlyvie mate?
  21. I love having my sunroof, it's amazing for hot days!
  22. Haha I like your thinking lads, it might have to come to that. I've done a lot of work for this MOT. The police at mine are stingey bastards!
