Legend...yep was being blind! -
Hi all, After a new original drive shaft nut for the Glanza. Don't know if I'm being blind but looked on the parts site and can't seem to find it?... http://japan-parts.eu/toyota/jp/1999/starlet/ep91-agmqy/4_121150_006_/powertrain-chassis/4302_front-drive-shaft Does anyone know the part number so I can order it from Toyota? Thanks

Can't we just get someone to make a billet 3rd gear for us? Okay it will probably move the issue somewhere else but hey may work out fine.

If this somehow does not sell for that bargain price and you decide to break, i'd be very interested in your turbo kit mate

Yepp same stuff I used, Motul transmission fluid.

Hi mate, They are direct fit over the original dial faces. Not many places sell them anymore apart from a couple. ID Workz used to sell them as where I got mine from, but couldn't see them on there site when i just looked. http://moman.pl/eu/starlet---glanza-1996-1999,877,286279.html sells them if interested? Hi mate, Best way to find prices of his kits/manifold or custom parts is either via here or Facebook. Just drop him a message. They are based in Sri Lanka and is where there shop is located. They used to have a website but got hacked a while back and don't think hes had the time to get a new one built up. +1 for going WEPR one of the best if not the best Starlet manifolds. You can see from the amount of people run them on here and amount of little issues they have. If any its covered by warranty to original purchaser as mentioned

I would just leave it in mate, unless you are going for an absolute engine bay show build its more hassle than its worth. Even just re-locating the battery and the area it frees up makes it pretty clean as is after a lick of paint

Cheers mate, i'll give it a go Yepp, almost. So I removed the engine loom from the car and stripped back the tape. Issue is its not just the engine loom in there but a whole bunch of other stuff like window wipers, starter motor, alternator and grounds that you need to keep. If you follow the pin out diagram for the Glanza you can remove just the engine loom. You will need to create new grounds though as you would have ripped them all out. I removed a massive bag of wires from the bay and was left with just, alternator, wiper motor and gearbox reverse switch wiring which is nothing.

My Glanza is being built up by them and mapped on a Haltech at Redline in Essex if that helps. Extremely happy with their service and quality of the work so far. Regarding mapping he would easily be able to map an EMB reliably Nikhil

Same here, not long to go ;) Cheers mate, will get some vids of it up once properly set up showing all the different warning features, F1 style lights etc... Haha cheers bro, it's come a long way and almost done now, few final pieces left and mapping underway. Just some other quick snaps I have of the bay, few wires to tidy up that the tuners are doing. Utilizing an AEM 4 channel ignition amplifier to drive my COP setup... And a Link 3 BAR external MAP sensor for all that boost All the rest of the sensors, are AEM i

Yes, same dimensions. Will be a direct fit.

Cheers mate, getting mapped next week so will post up the results and if all goes smooth hopefully! The Haltech has been flawless so far in terms of being wired up and the other Haltech add-ons such as their wideband controller and boost controller. extremely easy to set up software wise and dash, getting it all mounted up properly as well with external indicator lights, lights etc... Should drive pretty sweet once done! Nikhil

The only benefit I see of running sequential fueling over batch fueling is the efficiency and better millage as your not wasting as much fuel? If available to you sequential all the way You can run full sequential injection but if wanting full sequential ignition as well then you need to move over to COP (Coil On Plugs). You can use the stock 24-1 pickups for this. Nikhil

Exactly this. Same with Haltech's, anything before there newer Elite series don't support knock control. Its tuned accordingly anyhow and there is many engine protection features built in that you can enable to mitigate the likelihood of detonation. I say get it as they are a bargain for what they allow you to do Nikhil
