  1. As above I'm after a a brand new oil cooler and oil filter relocation kit, a thermostatic one. Any suggestions ? Really need this asap. Thanks
  2. Mine sound a bit louder then that before my oil pump could break. And with a new oil pump again .siezed .car is parked of for further inspection when I have time

Honestly I've lost interest for now .the car is still by the mech .I'm suppose to collect it from them .the bottom end was built by another guy .so unsure of how it was tightened .but 2 oil pumps seizing and breaking so far so I'm doubting about tightening.   4. Thanks bud lemme see when the next pump arrives maybe just pull out plugs and crank it and see if it's building pressure or something ,if that doesn't work will strip it down .the joys of modifying.
  5. As said the 1st pump was working fine for 350km before showing signs of the oil pressure dropping .the oil and oil filter changed thrice in those 350km . When dropped the sump. No signs of any filings or debris. But I can believe the internal block maybe was not cleaned up. What would be the next step to do? Fit another oil pump and pull out the plugs and try cranking to prime?
  6. So with everything going smooth my oil pump broke. Engine was re-built with a new one fitted, after 350 km of running in the motor oil pressure kept dropping and coming back .a knocking around from the oil pump pulley side was making noise .belt came off the pulley . 2nd genuine pump fitted , belt put back in place .sump dropped .checked for filings nothing everything clean .oil was perfect. Fired it up and within 2 mins of running 2nd oil pump siezed. Now I'm lost as to what's causing this .? Any input would be highly appreciated . Faiyaz.

  9. I can't believe I haven't posted for so long.sheesh. Car is running now, a few niggles here and there but getting there slowly . Just a few pics of it recently . Ive purchased seats as well so going to be tackling the interior next .will keep doing it till I know it's perfect .I need to study my car and update that parts list lol. Let me know what you think.   10. Hi guys As above, my motor has been freshly built .forged .it has a Base map to it for now.been driven like 10 km lol. Noticing white smoke from the breather filter on the oil catch tank ,is that normal?
  11. New line and new fitting problem sorted !! Thanks to my buddy. Last thing we wants is a fuel leak while on dyno!!. Thanks to everyone for the input .
  12. As the topic .what sealant can i use for the an fitting to fuel rail . I have a zisco fuel rail with fpr .the connection at the fpr is fine but to the fuel rail is leaking.
  13. Well said matt. I think we can all agree .the mods never end .it's never perfect, whoever starts a build thinking that when completed they wouldn't be a problem or niggles then that's the person who has no idea what hole they jumping in. Goodluck with the build.!

  15. Had the same problem even though mines was custom intake where it was actually facing on top. And boost pipes were made according to that and still not a perfect fit. Some alterations will have to be made. Good luck coming up good

  17. Hi there On the look out for the apexi 2.5 bar boost gauge sensor. Unfortunately did not come with it all in have it the gauge and some long wires but no sensors .
