  1. interested in the indicators, whats been repaired on them?
  2. never been that impressed with veyrons, but man id love an f type, manual hardtop in green, gorgeous!
  3. Did the ecu go? I see it was pending payment, i really want another mines!
  4. he could borrow my auto project if he wants, i even have both mk1 and mk2/3 bumpers for it. hed have to come and get it though im not driving to preston, and i wouldnt want to find any holes drilled in it either lol.
  5. Gotta put on here, its a nightmare to change an alternator, but it IS possible to get it out straight down past the driveshafts without removing anything else, i did it in the rain without even jacking the car up cause i left my jack n shit at home lol. rolled two wheels onto the kirb and lay in the gutter, took about 4 hours and a shitoad of patience for tightening akward bolts with your fingertips!
  6. will do mate, might have to have this 'charger rebuilt its a right mess, but ill be using it as its both clutched and the best design for low end torque. its a bit of a back burner job too, have two more cars that need fixing first!
  7. As no fool would buy my shell ive decided im going ahead with the planned build I collected parts for, a compound sc12/tdo5 5e. wish it was black though, not really into white starlets, just arnt as cool somehow.
  8. i can get you some pics of the plugs and pcb board gubbins dude, might take a day or two as all my stuff is miles away and im silly busy atm!
  9. I had that set of unknown brand double'ard 5 spokes on my advance, stood up to me hydroplaning into a kirb at about 30 miles an hour. all my suspension on that corner was totally destroyed, but the alloy that actually hit the kirb wasnt bent, cracked or even out of balance lol, just some pretty minor looking kirb marking. When my poor old advance was t-boned the rota gt3 that was hit was utterly destroyed, though to be fair the rotas felt so much better to drive on, light alloys make alll the difference.
  10. it has the optional livesound speakers, original toolkit, original boot floor thing, spare wheel, suspension, most of the exhaust, and ill be fitting my doorspeakers, 3 point optional rear brace, and a levin twinpot kit i bought ages ago. the mechanical diff is definately going in too, one way or another. ill convert it to manual just for the pleasure of destroying that bloody auto, rest in pieces, you wont disappoint any more drivers, anymore.
  11. It was fucked the day it was made an auto box my friend, ive nothing nice to say about it at all! hilariously bad, perhaps . Haha, ill tell you what, if i do put the mk3 on ill give you first dibs on the mk1 colin!
  12. Dont say that lol, im already having a dilemma over whether or not to keep it or sell for the dollah and keep my shell. :S the shopping list of things id like for it gets very expensive, very fast lol. axe ex8s, bc racing coilies, some lovely looking wilwoods setup i for sale on here recently lol, the temptation to modify its immaculate oem goodness is strong, must resist! To mk1 or not to mk1 though, that is the question!
  13. I might even know someone who has a set of those, come to think of it!
  14. Well, I've come full circle and found myself with a freshly bought starlet, and this time ive decided to do a 'build' thread for it. i bought this little gem for its low milage and mad colour, and having most of my dead advance left over, have parts galore for a little restoration job! Driving this home was a huge giggle, being a filthy automatic meant i had 100 odd miles to work out why people opt for these shithouse slushboxes at all, but im sorry to say im still at a loss, the best i could make of it is that it seems to be a 4 speed manual with really tall gears and the gearstick replaced
  15. Its all good, wasnt as bad as when i let my mate drive my advance with a mines ecu on like a bar of boost, damn near killed us lol. Driving an auto is an experience lol, set everything to power mode and floor it, autobox has a fit and cant choose between any of the gears lol, so funny. Got a cheeky tunnel run in on the way home, sounds good!
  16. you gotta fight, for your right, to paaaaaaarrrrttttyy! Not meant as a gloat bud, just had to say it. I've tried to buy loads of starlets off ebay and on here and got nowhere or found it was a lemon, keep trying!
  17. MINE! cheers dude, ill take care of it ive missed ownership of a little starlet!
  18. Im very interested in this mate, cba to build my shell up but id like this as a runaround!
  19. Sort of bump, torn over selling this or not now, so ill let someone else decide! 350 ono, cant go wrong at that price, not that id sell a dud anyway!
  20. I'm just going to keep my starlet shell for now and put a mad td05 5e together, as no one seems to want any of the gear I have that id need to build it anyway. several parts removed, accordingly.
  21. Those calipers are impreza 4 pots, for my scoob. I really think I should look into making a custom bracket to mount them to starlet hubs, ive felt them in scoobs before and they stop a 1250 kg gc8 like you've hit a wall when you need them, fantastic.
  22. i have an unused triple core civic rad for sale if your interested, in the for sale section!
  23. bump, im still amazed that none of this has drawn any buyers. plenty of interest, pms galore, but no buyers!
  24. An easy mistake to make when your me lol. I had the subie seats sat in place, had a brain fart saw them through the windscreen at he back of my garage and sold its proper seats as spares from the old one, like a month after i sold the seats from the old one lol, Fail! I just want it gone, want an mr2 turbo n need the space to do an h6 scooby build too.
