More work done, no more dead engine or lsd box, and the grot is fukin real in this bay . its gonna take a lot to degrease all this, but i dont mind as actually it protects the metal underneath anyway lol

nah wasnt me, ive never had a 4paw sadly tbough id love one! I did have a gt advance but a van pulled out into the side of it at 30mph and wrecked it. Still got a lot of it to fit to this one, so it lives on kinda. The mad old bottlecap/ronal turbo looking things need a refurb, so theyre getting swapped for these cades eros i got silly cheap from a scrappy and stripped em down to bare metal, dunno whether to go for a rota style dark bronze or gunmetal atm, need to take a vote or something.

Been working on it a little bit more, swapped the mk3 boot i swapped away to its previous owner, for the mk2 boot i sold its previous owner then swapped back for the mk3 lol. Really silly situation when i think about it, as ive ended up owning of it anyway. all in order to fit this

Its very nearly the same plate as cheznutters old gt, i was digging around and thought it was his old car from a couple of years back, but one letter is different!

with the parts i have ready i dont think ittle take as long as you might think at first glance. Im stealing this things viscous lsd gearbox ad shaft and engine mounts to finish the green one to a good all original spec, selling that as the minter ittle be by he time im done with it and building a serious engine to demolish things with in this :L

Just to add, this is a pre aug 95 import, so doesnt need to meet any emissions level lol, though it does comfortably with the n/a backbox on, and is registered to the dvla as a 2.0 gl, though i always insured it as a wrx of course. This shit always happens to me with turbos, when i bought my tfo35 i sent it of to liamd immediately and he told me it would have fallen to bits and done my engine if id run it, cant trust anyone you dont know personally when it comes to turbos it seems.

Hey all, quick question, can anyone point me in the direction of standard spec engine mounts? Surely im being a tit but i cant find any about, even the local total motor factors cant get me any. Dont wanna use polybushes on my green project car!

Oh, is it something controlling the starter, or can i just put a manual starter on it to solve that problem? I compared the manual and auto starters and couldnt see any immediate differences. no not yet, ive been meaning to look at that, ill probably just pinch the ignition barrel gubbins from my white shell and throw the auto pushbutton job in that with the button jammed or removed, as i dont care about the asthetics of the white one lol its only for me!

Hey all, so ive decided to start a proper thread on this to hopefully get to the bottom of this! ive been busy converting my green gt over to manual and have so far been happily swapping all the mechanical bits over, but now its time to tackle electronics so its time to get some advice. The original plan was to simply slap the manual ecu from my old '95 into it, but ive found that the autos are 3 plug, so ive now got 3 options, as follows: I've read here and there that you can just leave the auto ecu in and bridge something somewhere to trick it into always thinking its in drive, b
