Bump, I've got all the parts to make a field harness to fit this to an ep91 if thatd interest anyone? need this gone now, but i just cant make it any cheaper than it is lol

i have 2, one bolts to the gearbox and the other on the back of the gauge cluster in the dash, if your still after one pm me!

obv the one on the right is the modified one, the corolla would need a bit of bending to angle the gearknob towards the driver but itd be an easy easy job!

So i was down the scrappys as usual, and ended up trading my c63 gearbox for a corolla g6's c161 that i found lurking in a corner. Also grabbed all the metal gubbins out of its shifter to go with the box and found that the gearstick itself would go straight into a starlet with a somewhat shorter throw into each gear lol, its almost identical to my custom short shifter in length and i know thats about 10mm more than stock!

U know u can remove the lock from the ignition by putting the key in, and pushing a button in near the back? Try me again with the gear knob, i do need it for my project!

Couple of pics of the process of fitting the clutch master cylinder, for anyone doing their own conversion youll need an 8mm drill bit and a 30mm hole saw, and go steady as the firewall is made of like 1.6mm mild steel, you go through so fast its silly!. also, sprayed the holes with a tin of 6m6 so they dont rust. at the halfway point now, just doing some while im in there engine work, new belts and the like, and its time for it to all go back together. bottom pic is the extended shifter i made, adds a little bit of weight to the shift and should shorten it somewhat, its an extension of about

Small update time as ive been busy sorting through this, taken all the pictures and then found my laptop had shat itself ffs. Got the whole front off and the engine and gearbox out, thought I might as well pull the engine and do a belts and seals job on it to futureproof it. Made it a short shifter with a bottom weighted gearstick, solid shifter mounts and bearing bushings for the selector cables that I've pinched from my white shell, along with the clutch pedal and mech. I promised myself i wouldn't pinch bits from it as its what ill be working on when this is done, knew I was lying to myself

im sorely tempted to get one of these, im selling my scoob saloon for an estate and this is the cool alternative to that. sleeper as you like too, with a quiet exhaust and an electronic cut out on no one would look twice. can i ask what kind of fuel this gets real world? id bet its better than a scoob lol
