so as it turns out lol, its not a straight fit, though it is possible tein did several different sizes as im sure someone has a set of motors for this kit for sale somewhere on here that have a different thread entirely. No matter, ill just need some thread adaptors and some means of extending the 3mm hex key that actually adjusts the shock by around 15mm.

100 quid on ebay lol, no one else even bid. theres another set on there for 150. naturally, i don't acutaly own tien coilovers to fit this kit to, I've done some research and found a few peeps on various forums say that they fit miesters, i cant wait to check tomorrow. if not ill have to make them fit :L

the bigger problem is that when the thieves find that this method isnt working, theyll just adopt a new method. I say its better someone gets caught in the act and gets fucked over asap then we all get into some sort of security arms race, sooner or later thats just going to end up at break into your house for the keys or armed robbery level.

So my search for a 6 speed that isnt made of chocolate continues, and i swapped the c63 i had from a celica for a c161 from a corolla g3. ive now got the dead advance's mechanical lsd equipped c52 back out of the green project and was wondering if its possible the stronger 1st-5th gears from that in the 6 speed? Bear with me on this lol, i know the c52s gears are thicker, but I've yet to dabble in custom gearbox building so im throwing ideas out to try and find a plan with merit!

thatd be nice, id definitely be keeping it if it is! i do like that it holds the turbo further from the block than the other mani i have, it might end up being the deciding factor when i have other bulky old things hanging off the front of the engine with pipework going everywhere, if you know what i mean ;) never left bud, just taking a break before i go nuts on a proper build! does look cool on a quaddie, good luck finding one lol, let alone one with the original fogs!

Wow, its been a long ass time since i updated this thread, been slowly plodding through it, its starting to really move along now! so i threw a load of new seals on the engine, new timing belt kit and all that good old 'while i was in there' stuff, and threw on my freshly resurfaced lightened flywheel, because why not. standard spec excedy clutch of course, and bolted my old gt's gearbox on. sorry the pic isn't the best, i took better pics of most of this then found id lost the lot and had to take more with my phone. i also fitted the manual pedals up properly, along with the shifter box.

so i did a quick mock up with some of the parts i plan to fit to it, doesnt really do it justice all different colours and clearly balanced in place lol. also needs a big fat splitter for the air dam look, im struggling to find the car i like to use the splitter from atm, starting to get rare in scrapyards now :/. The mani i pulled from the dead engine. Its external gate vband bit has been stuck on with chewing gum at some point and naturally it leaks, but i cant decide whether to repair, brace and use this or another mani i have which I believe might be an older toyosport, not sure tho

Cheers! its gotten right down to pretty much just a shell atm, i need to finish the green project to sell to fund this one for myself. I've been taking everything off it to make sure i dont start building on anything rotten or badly done. ill be uploading a load of pics later

Ive got a freshly built one here id take 150 for, with the wastegate sealed for use with external gates.

if its the speedline safari things you want, my local scrapyard silverlake have a full set. pretty sure they post shit too
