Item For Sale: A mines ecu, for ep82 Item Condition & Description: I imported this from japan about a year ago and was chuffed with it, you can really tell the difference from a standard ecu. Ive heard these called one of the best of the aftermarket ecus in terms of mapping, it does does the usual things, raises the rpm limit, removes the boost cut and is referred to as a learning ecu. its in pretty good condition, it has a few age related blemishes on the plaque on the front and the odd scratch, but its nothing like dents or actual physical damage, its mines seals are still intact too. Im selling it to fund the last part of another project i want to finish and get out of the way asap and i dont really have a use for it any more as my next engine will need a standalone. price: 500 + pnp ono, faster you make the offer the more lenient i can be as im after a quick quid lol. Try swapping the wheels around on the car. I had a pull to the left for ages and no amount of asking to have the car retracked or the wheels rebalanced delt with it. I had to swap the alloys around until i could work out which alloy was the offender and deal with it! Turned out one of the wheels was slightly out of round for me.

Deff going down the standalone route, itd already be up for sale if posting a for sale thread on a mobile wasnt a fucking ballache and i hadnt pancaked my laptop again lol. Can anyone outline the full benefits of a coilpack system over a dizzy? Nowhere i look seems to be able to give a clear answer to that question!

I know a mines couldnt control a coilpack setup, it was just an afterthought question ive been meaning to ask for a long time. I may just sell up the mines, thouh its painful to do cause i imported the thing and was chuffed to bits with it lol.

Hey one and all, ive had a thought mulling over in my head for a while now. Ive steadily accumulated all the choice parts for a mental 5e build, using a td05 16g and a supercharger, and a a big old pile of other bits. One of these bits is a mines ecu i have from my last starlet, which was a real game changer for the pretty near stock set up, really felt the difference. I thought this would be able to deal with the planned new set up just fine, but moneys getting pretty tight right now and i was wondering if itd be worth selling it for now and going for a standalone when the time comes. Has anyone here got experience of running serious cusom builds on plug n plays? Would it be worth looking into a coilpack set up too?

Tis a beast now luke, all the choice bits and bobs. The stock engine had ringland damage so ive bought a new sti job with a vf tubby, arp studs and cometic gaskets. Spending moolah on the wrong ride though ive always wanted an r32 gtst and i think i saw this one at beulieu PW memorial meet late last year, its a nice one!

the name of the game for someone going itbs on the cheap is to make sure you feed the itbs with a big intake plenum, and not try and go with trumpet fed stacks like you see on oldschool stuff running carbs, cause that literally would be impossible to control without randomly leaning out and ruining your shit. do all the research before you even think about going for it! personally, id advise looking for gains elsewhere first anyway, like lightened flywheels or even a camshaft regrind!

Be careful of who your buying from, all performance cars get ragged, its their nature, its the person selling it you should take into consideration!
