I may need a new drivers side shock, anyone nearby to potsmouth got a spare?

More problems, replaced the wishbones and balljoints, but the wheel isnt quite right still. has a silly amount of toe out which i think would be new track rod/ends, but the wheel itself doesnt have the same camber as the other side and has considerable caster when turned. is my chassis bent, or is there something else im missing? i havnt got the means to jack the car up and look myself, and i cant get it on a ramp till saturday, and id like to take it in with as much knowledge of what to look for as possible. any pics of the underside of a healthy '82 would be appreciated!

Hey, i was hoping someone on here might have a good pic of the underside of a ep82, around the wishbones and engine area? also, i know its the wrong area but does anyone know if only 5efhe engines got the higher lift/duration cams or all 5efes? cheers for any help!

Heres the thing. my gt advance seems to have been generally savaged over the years. spare wheel pan is rusty, dents everywhere, some clot sprayed over the gt advance decals down the side, which i dont think u can buy new any more (the spray jobs a mess lol, runs n bubbles all over the show) and the front is stone chipped and scratched to shit. the thing needs a respray. the choice is a tough one tho, re do the silver and black scheme it once had, or go for the rare red or that mad turquoise colour. thought id ask you lot lol, get some sort of vote going n see what peeps opinion is.

Yer, they look shit hot, but im basically working with no budget at all lol, so ill take the retrofit other higher performance car parts option wherever possible. that or fabricate my own parts completely, il be making my own long runner intake plenum soon, might even make a few if its a success and other peeps fancy one.

s205 twinpots are about 100 more to buy on ebay than 185 singles. i was just wondering the best bang for buck set up for a fast road car really.

i know my standard brakes are more than enough to lock the tyres, as i found out in a recent super heavy rain disaster do bigger calipers give more feel/ travel on the pedal?

i suppose the benefit of running bigger brakes would be to help keep the disks and whatnot cooler under heavy use? what benefit does having twin pots over a larger single give?

hey, looking through the threads on here, and was wondering why peeps fit the 185 single pot calipers as opposed to the beefer st205 twin pots on the later celicas. machining isnt a problem for me, anyine know what id need to do such a conversion?

not that badly, some new panels here and there and whatnot, a hyndai i10 hit it. it all comes down to what ins say about having it fixed i suppose. he needs to get this imo lol.

its in the shop now, im letting them deal with this one. got some ball joints from idworkz, trying to get some polybushed replacement wishbones and a cheeky anti lift kit from shorty on here, but its a bit of a nightmare with no car and the worlds least reliable mates lol.

id love some rediculous overfenders on the starlet, with dustbin deep dish alloys and crazy wide track. im worried at the thought of taking my starlet on track,id be there to see what it can do, not faff about lol. maybe is should give it a miss :L
