Good to hear you got it sorted so quick! Was looking forward to seeing the bumper too! haha. Back on track anyway

I know that. I bought bitcoins through localbitcoins.com. But lost £5.50 in transfer fees. I'm going to try OKpay later. Just got verified today (heard it's secure to use).

5 days later and my balance peaked at £67 yesterday. (£37 profit and still going) Trading on btc-e mainly with bitcoin and litecoin. If you're still interested in it Chris this might be a good option. I just keep kicking myself. If I invested £300 I would be £370 up. Haha

Sounds good! Back on track Remix on for the 8th?

Threw £30 into trading tonight on BTC-E. Lets see how this goes...

Nope. Once you get it out, all bulbs are accessible from the rear of the clocks.

Maybe. Have a look at a gpu chart, see what MH/s yours outputs. Considering the miners are 350MH/s each. It might not be worth your while considering power usage of a full pc can be costly. There are calculators out there which can work out your efficiency.

Yes you can buy sell just like shares, which is more profitable, but time consuming, compared to letting a miner work in its own. And a free coin? That's worth $500 right now? What wallet is that from?
-
Its almost impossible to say. If you started early you could have mined more coins at a lower difficulty, which today would be worth alot more. If you start now you will not mine as many, and in turn your work won't be worth much. But if you kept them who's to say in a year's time they won't be worth x10 what they are now. With numbers 1 year ago, mine 1 coin. It was maybe worth £10. With the same amount of work you might only mine 0.02 today. But coins are worth £500+. So if you Sold, you would still only make £10. However If you kept your coin from a year ago it is now worth £500+ to you. S

Nice amount of coins! If as you said a big player starts to accept it as a viable means of payment, It will skyrocket to god knows what height. Already spiked recently only because the US congress have taken a big enough interest to talk about it. If someone like amazon/ebay/paypal start using it as currency. It could double/treble within days. Very interesting to see where this goes!

From what I can tell what you will need is: Raspberry Pi ~ £30 Powered USB Hub ~ £20 USB ASIC Miners ~ £25 each Depending on the amount of USB Miners you add, varies the speed you can mine. Therefore: ~£200 all in should set you up with that setup with 6 USB miners. At the current speeds (difficulty) and bitcoin value it will take the most part of a year to get your money back. Then profit after that. However if you collect the coins and don't cash in, In a years time they might be worth x2 of what they are now, but that's a gamble. Bearing in mind, difficulty also increases over time. Plus

The guys selling other items at unrealistic prices too, all with the same negative reviews (considering these are $2500 machines) = http://www.aliexpress.com/store/product/50-GH-s-Bitcoin-Miner/736978_1334880690.html If you haven't already ordered them, don't bother, waste of time.

Been looking into and researching mining For about a month now. Already got a rPi for messing around on from months ago. Might get a setup like this running. Alot of talk about wether the cost of mining on this scale is more efficient than just buying and selling coins. But with the massive changes in BTC prices its hard to tell...

Currently running no powersteering from factory. Considering installing it, as noel said, you'd be better with it.

I'll maybe give this a go over the weekend if I have a bit of time.
