  1. so on the turbo front it was the td04 i got from jdm-ep that was causing the smoke, wish i could find the feedback thread to confirm it was bad kit id bought but seems to have been deleted i was able to source 2 TF035HM turbo's (both 4cm type). my plan is to have similar ct9 response on the 4e by using a fast spooling turbo on the 5e. with the tf035hm bolted on the smoke instantly stopped but to use it in my setup i put the td04 compressor housing on (60mm front entry). this has kind of created a late spool as the tf035 wheel is 0.5mm smaller on the exducer so doesnt spool up asw

  8. Idling at 2000 when cold is the wax stat being on. It will idle high to warm engine up quicker then drop to whatever u set idle as when warm - say 800rpm. Hunting is normally a vacuum leak or dodgy icv. Easy fix with new silicone hoses or cleaning inside - Google clean icv Did u leave lights on? Running lights at night will reduce battery charge from alternator but not run flat unless the battery or alternator is dodgy. It is possible u have a device leaking electricity. Check fuses. Mine was dome fuse that caused mine to drain overnight. I'd check all connectors, vacuum, wiring/fuses and e

  12. If your doing 2k solid then 1 litre plus 1/2 litre hardener 2:1 (1.5l) will get you 2 coats over the exterior. Same for laquer. Base coat will be 1-2 litres depending on color. Silver or yellow will take more coats then black for example.

  14. so alot happens in a month. was starting to feel like i had stalled a bit but where i hit roadblocks i was able to do other stuff to the car id had hidden for a while such as fitting the ALK id had for over a year and the camber bolts i got xmas 2014: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tk5p16lK67Q also had to get an extension bit made up for the exhaust, a) cause whoever id bought it off cut it short when repairing flexi and needed to extend anyway for the height of the 5e: managed to run the buffer over it too whilst the manifold was being repaired ready for the sun
