  1. Looking forward to seeing this at the meets over the summer! Great build Andy.
  2. You have got mixed up. If you set your actuator to 0.8 and fully close the mbc you will get 0.8 bar of boost. If you open it slightly(assuming its a bleed valve) you will get 0.9 bar and the more you open it the more boost you will get. Your best just using the adjustable actuator over the mbc
  3. Also having the same problem at the minute. Anything over 2.5k the eml light comes on. It's now alot harder on fuel and deffo doesn't run as good. I'm hoping it's not the wiring but it most likely will be going by this and other threads.
  4. Deffo worth the money to save hacking up the loom! Sounds great Ryan. Your getting there, what make is the external wastegate?
  5. Cheers lad! Hopefully get the engine threw together within the next month or so then get it fitted and mapped. A few sprit events would really put the car to some use I don't think I will keep them too long. I may go for some silver Japan racing wheels! Maybe jr15's. Thanks but.
  6. Also got some new wheels. I swapped them for my buddyclubs. I know this may not be to some people's taste. Excuse the silly yellow strip please.
  7. Bit of an update of parts. I finally have all the bits to build my forged 5efte. First off is the ecu which I'm not sure if I posted about or not. It's a wolf v4x from Tuning Developments I have got my speedvision cams, blitz boost controller which I may just sell as the v4x can control boost. New Wilwood brake setup with braided lines. The innovate wideband will be fitted along with my exhaust when the 5e engine goes in to ensure fitment is perfect. I will be doing away with the stock exhaust flange and using a vband setup. Also picked up a bride drivers rail, so is currently a bit of a botch job so this will be a good replacement. I haven't got any pictures but I also picked up a fibreglass rear bootlid to go with my fibreglass wings and bonnet so I should hopefully save a bit of weight. Next up is a cage and that's the car fully ready for the track. I got my 74.5mm forged wiseco pistons from Tim at to developments who I would use again. Great service!
  8. They are generally a very clean engine so I wouldnt bother. If it was a engine that wasn't serviced and full of sludge I wouldnt even bother running oil cleaner through it as you will end up blocking a turbo feed with sludge.

  15. Most likely water in the ignition system eg down the plug holes.
  16. I have seen posts on forums that people who have submitted bad reviews (maybe on a turbo etc) have been contacted by max speeding etc to remove the post.
  17. Still here!
  18. 60 for a flight and 110 for a boat back. You won't be disappointed,its a great car!
  19. I have got a set for my 5e build. There is also a lot of lads from across the water using them, as far as i can tell someone was running 400bhp on a 5e with them. (Obviously using the 5e variant before some smart ass comes along) Phil. has used a few sets without fail as well.
