Sorry I've sort of lost interest as the past while. My car is currently away so its hard to do anything too. But I must get it up and running properly, the reason I lost interest as I ran into a few problems but I found out the other day how to sort them so it's just a matter of wiring it all up

You have to admit OKpay looks like one of them bloody PPI websites with all the banners and stuff. Real hard to justify putting my bank details into that lol heard its secure is hard to trust.

Discs/Pads for TOYOTA calipers: inc WMS 110% heavy duty
karl. replied to Keri-WMS's topic in WMS Brakes
Sounds good to me, Are you able to match the price of these pads then? If bought with the 110% discs. http://www.futuremotorsports.com/FERODO-DS2500-FAST-ROAD-PADS-FRONTS-copy-98966.html -
Have you a link to the one you bought? Want to replace mine before the fueling is setup just to make sure its ok.

Thats all I needed to know, great. Thanks

Can somebody confirm that this will work in a glanza? I know you either have to grind down this or the power steering rack but will this work with the standard filter and fit ok? http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&id=360765142777

I would be up for a group buy on the OEM groved 110%'s and a set of Ferodo DS2500 pads. -
Whats he got or what? I see he has a levin but doesnt seem to be selling the brakes of it. Would you rate the DS2500 pads better than the yellowstuff's I think it is. What would be the price for the DS2500's and the 110% discs posted to NI then?

Hmm 8 hour return journey is a bit much just for a bumper lol -
I know what you mean but simply I cant justify spending £600 on front brakes alone but in saying that if I got WMS's for around 400 id say I would be more inclined for that. Thats what I was thinking, only on a td04 setup at the minute What sort of price are they? Including whatever is the normal for the rear, ABS discs aswell

Where abouts in ireland are you? -
So my glanza needs new brakes all round, well just really trying to keep things fresh. So what am I best to go for? I have heard that OEM pads and discs on the rear are the best, 20 of a difference in ABS and non ABS. Would I be better going for the non ABS and just put the 20 towards a removal kit? Fronts im not overly sure what to go for? It wont be used on a track, but does get some sprinted runs around back roads so need something sharp. Whats my options on the front? Thanks I dont really have the option of levin brakes as they never really come up for sale here.

That is a total joke to be honest, the price of it is a bit extreme, but its simple what they are doing and handy for people who cant code, I talk like I can haha

Here is a quick picture of how the screen is coming along, Im not interested in getting it all working and displaying accurate data before I worry about the layout Here I have a total of 5 senders, oil pressure, oil temp, fuel pressure, water temp and boost pressure. So soon enough im going to start making a loom that will be a bit more permanent with the wires being soldered to a proper board and hidden inside a case. This will then be hidden inside the dash. The power for the ardunio will come from a phone charger that I will take apart and wire in directly so as it has a 5v source instead of a 12. This should help keep things a bit cooler.

So what do people recommend as safe operating conditions? oil pressure <= 0.9 bar boost pressure >= 1.3bar water temp >= 100c oil temp ?? not sure what this runs at fuel pressure??

Just after seeing your posts there now, sorry. Im only a student developer so im not overly experienced in the whole thing but im in a placement for a year now so hopefully should pick up plenty by the end of that. Good to see I can use you for tips/help lol. The thing is, it isnt hard to add something on to this later on. I've been looking at a boost controller mainly and it doesnt seem to bad and I never even considered a laptimer but I have no need for that as the i never race Had a quick look at the first post of the first one there and I can tell I've alot of reading ahead lol Seems very detailed now, once i get a chance I will look into the others. Thanks for the links. Well my update for today is that I got the board and started wiring up a few wee things but im struggling with the code I have to admit. Anyways heres a picture of what I've got so far. by the way just seen that its costing your man well over $1K, Lets hope that doesnt happen me lol I dont know if you can see it but the screen is displaying something like: Engine Monitoring System Glanza V
