  1. how much bud will you post?
  2. Pretty sure there the triple charged engine did make rhd. Only being simae because it used three turbos
  3. I'm taking mine out this weekend and wondering the same. Out the top or bottom. Alot of people say its easier out the the top and others out the bottom. I have access to a crane so could do both. My worry is that i wont be able to get the car high enough on a jack and axle stands to drop it out the bottom
  4. As above, anything will do as long as they fit. As cheap as possible as only need to go on a car so it rolls while coilovers are off. Don't need to work properly be lowered or anything fancy
  5. Tbf mitsubishi did it with one turbo, and from what i've heard the lag isn't that bad at all. Plus this engine isn't in a car yet!
  6. everythings about how quick it gets round the track these days, rather drive a fun car then something thats 90% car 10% driver
  7. Handling yeh. I'd put money on the new pulsar weighing close to 1.5tonnes..look at the size of the thing, as i said its almost a juke. Be good to see if someone does a comparison of the two
  8. Thats the biggest issue weight...its not gonna have the performance of the gtir because of that. Yeh it'll be comfy, more modcons and more reliable and have a bit of poke...but nothings really setting it outside from most modern diesels
  9. Just seen this..worth a comment
  10. got so close to selling it but few things went wrong and couldn't sell someone a duff car... so its left here haha. Not much i can do apart from from fix it up and decide what to do after that. but the days of wanting a s14, gt4 etc are gone now with a house.
  11. im into purple but not rotas really haha
  12. Just noticed that on your site, thats perfect! Ideally I would like to leave the head gasket alone, but have no proof when it was last done.
  13. Cars off the road now as have the space and time to tidy up the car, engine bay etc. My plan is to remove the engine and have it on a stand for a couple of months. I want to put the engine back into the car with as much done to prolong its life as possible, although unable to forge. I've thought of the obvious stuff, cambelt, possibly headgasket, crank seal, oil and filter change, reseal the sump, clutch change. Also replacing any oil seals that may have started weeping over time. Is there a list of all the oil seals on the 4EFTE engine and possibly a set that you can buy, either oem or oem quality? Any other works that would be easier while the engine is out? I plan to do a compression test and possibly ring replacement.
  14. Does the block need to be notched for the rods?
  15. Fucking dribbler
  16. that pulsar looks shit imo. Its far to close to a nissan juke slower than the old one and just too girly looking. Modern hot hatches have gone down hill. hot hatches were never made to be comfortable and luxurious
  17. Ive got one.make me a offer
  18. Yup all stock as above. Havent checked codes yet
  19. Bump
  20. Ahhh right yeh forgot the older ones
  21. Surely a mr2 clutch can withstand alot more than 220? Or is it the 3gse clutch not the turbo?
  22. My drives covered in it. It eventually wears away naturally. I have tried mutliple driveway cleaners and they just seem to spread it more than anything
  23. Sounds like its misfiring when lean?
  24. Ill try all the above, cheers!
