Some people aren't about the name and showing off. Want a cheap functioning product... it's a bloody battery clamp ffs lol...have you seen the standard one
-
How is it shit though? Purely basing on the fact it doesn't have some JDM name on it?
-
Don't see anything wrong with that all? Battery clamp is a battery clamp if someone wants a nicer looking one don't blame them
-
Car didn't run differently on the wideband with no lambda and a working lambda..
Could just be my car but never noticed a difference. With or without idled at 14.5-15
-
I doubt it's lambda. I ran mine without for ages and made no difference on the wideband
-
Second hand works out better if you have a working standard engine as you can sell that to recoup costs. But buying all the bits you'll need your own block, head etc so that adds up
-
Watch any AE86 video and you will always see them in the VTEC range lol!
Obviously not a turbo car.
Colin you saying these cars are prone to failure at the red line?
Wow, I must say...that is kinda disappointing to hear. Maybe I ought to get a Honda lol
4efte isn't really designed to be a performance engine
-
That will rub. I had 16x8 with d2 coukovers and rubbed even with panhard. Will need to do something with the arches
-
Fuck me, where do you live to have to worry that much
-
Gt20 is a better turbo than td04 but more expensive
-
Bin the ebc and get some better pads is my suggestion lol

Daily Number 1
Daily Number 2-3.0TDI A4 Sline Quattro
The one that never gets driven-200hp 1litre project
-
probably cheaper and easier to buy a different head/hole engine. Measure the valve guides up and see if they are worn
-
Look at it this way, by the time you've bought the coilovers, had them fitted and setup, you're gonna be looking at well over £900. Can you really justify that for a car which has to deal with our potholed roads? And lets be honest, are you really gonna keep faffing round altering the ride height and damping all the time?
Yes
-
Well judging by the fact they have made a couple more films after Tokyo drift and raked the money in they are obviously doing something right. Nothing would be more unrealistic than them being multi millionaires driving around in a 20year old rice bucket
-
personally think coilover is the best option. You can fine tune coilovers and get them pretty dam close to ride like lowering springs and shocks. But you cant easily change lowering springs and shocks to have the adjustments coilovers have. If you want comfortable with road manners starlet is the wrong car

Pretty sure the na and turbo bars are different. I used slightlt modified saab 93 droplinks on mine as were dirt cheap. Polybushing the droplinks wont make much difference

Fast and furious is just a comedy for me.
Everthing is a joke,
most of cars are over the top and the actions scenes are the same. Unrealistic is a understatement
Its a film, to entertain. Not a documnetary
-
.People actually still watch those films? They've all been dog wank since Tokyo Drift lol
Such a stereotypical 'car guy' comment. Not about cars as much really but still good as action films
-
Better off going for max speeding rods brand new for a bit extra
-
Would consider 14s
-
wax valve on tb could be stuck shut
-
Wilwoods don't really have sliders like oem brakes. Check the disk doesn't need spacing and that the pads aren't too thick
-
Could be a airlock

if something is 8.99 just for a battery clamp, or 8.99 for clamp and sweets postage etc all being the same id go for the free sweets. Its not rocket science, or a crime.
lets be honest, starlets are pretty cheap cars, cheap parts etc majority of people who modify them are cheap. If you are offended by cheap products go buy a gtr or something
