Sure you can get them new elsewhere. I'll have a quick look. Saw new ones on a panel website once

With a 38mm external wastegate, with 0.8 bar of boost i never ever hit boost cut. On a tf035 and TD04 turbo. Foot flat to the floor, warm or cold weather
-
Shouldn't see any significant boost cut with a decent external gate. 0.8bar should leave you with a bit of leeway
-
Going down to JAE today so might not have chance to look until Sunday but will let you know ASAP!
No problem, had a white face for two years

does the rev gauge not work? you have oil pressure and vacuum on gauges but rev gauge shows 0
-
Sure I have a couple, will have a look as soon as I can
thanks

Be fine.standard ecu fuels a td04 at 0.8 bar fine

187.4 is at the fly in UK

Lovely one on Facebook. Black standard one
-
As above. Only want the black face. Will buy or swap for a white one

Tbf gorilla glue is good stuff, the fittings aren't really under load and won't explode if they fall off. Saying however....

Is that turbo a gt2056??
Nope GT1752
-
Probably about 140-150. I want 200, should do a bit more on the turbo. No one has used it before so not sure. Got to keep the gearbox happy.Engine will took loads more, standard ones have done 300hp reliably

Easily the best event of the year in my opinion. So much variety compared to Japfests etc. I'd be very surprised if anyone could go to the show and not see a car they have never seen before.

Cheers mate. Awful photo though haha

Nothing wrong with the powerflex stuff. They do exactly what they are meant to do. It's down to the person what they want from the car
-
Roughly 75 whp gained from exhaust, intercooler, plug leads & upping the boost? Hmmmm ........ good going. Were those the only power mods done?
Where did you get 75whp from?
That new front plate looks awful imo. First one you had better, minus the GB sign
-
Correct me if im wrong but the lads in jamaica were making 300hp on stock internals ages ago back in tggt forum days.
Yup seen that. They also dismiss the myth that the gt rods are any stronger. Alot of useful information in a thread on tggt from someone from Jamaica. Information from experimenting not hearsay

I didn't mean weld the baffle to the rocker cover.
I mean fill up the rivet sections with weld, allowing it to spill over the baffle. Effectively turning it into a rivet.
Drill and tap is a much better option I think. The charade rocker cover baffle comes with screws from standard. 30 years on and none have come loose
-
Welding would work. I just didn't have the set up to weld. Also, that then means you can't remove it again in future.
-
I drilled and tapped it, with loctite
