  3. seen the video of the bloke that did it back in 1960? he's held all the records that this guys attempting to better for the last 52 years [media]http://youtu.be/xE71aKXjss0 its about an 18 mile free fall!!
  4. The rear calipers wind in, they have two notches cut into the piston to allow a proper tool to locate into it but you can use the shaft of a screwdriver to do it instead. But it would be far easier to find/borrow/buy the tool to do it ;) And yes the caliper and pads need taking off the car, but leave the pipe connected!

  7. It cost me n my mate in his ep3 about £250 in fuel which we shared, that was for us from norfolk just over 1000 mile trip which isnt too bad obviously if you plan on exploring europe you're guna do more miles but generally its not too bad!

  9. Rear brakes are shocking, I've refurbed my rear calipers and they're still terrible. Think my rears were 16% efficeint last MOT and they need to over 15% :/
  10. What about if you remove the pipe from the slave cyl and try pumping it?
  11. Is the bleed nipple clogged up? Have you removed it and see if it comes through without it on there?
  12. Out till 430 woke up still lean n got pestered to drive to a greasey cafe for a fry up lol
  13. Brakes depending on price, but sooner rather than later as mine has a nicely cracked disc :,(

  18. As above im looking to upgrade my brakes pretty soon. I plan on using it on track a bit more i need something a bit more substantial that what any oem brakes can offer! Not fussed on make, but they have got to fit under 15's and have around a £500 budget So if anybody has some on a car they're breaking soon or if you can point me in a direction of some i would be very thankful Morgey

    Tbf the engines are coming down abit, my friend struggled to sell his at £1600 engine box shafts loom ecu all ancileries and it was 45k

  21. It will have a bit of pressure there as thats why you have your rocker cover breathers/pcv valve. Have you checked to see they're both open and flow air fairly easily? Im not sure how the pcv valve works tho so that may or may not pass air normally, so might be worth waiting to see what another member says
  22. Mine goes well off the clocks now by the way, both speed and revs even in 5th
  23. Mine was clocks, the book speed on a starlets about 106-7mph so if mine did 118 that probably isn't wrong in all fairness
