As above im looking to upgrade my brakes pretty soon. I plan on using it on track a bit more i need something a bit more substantial that what any oem brakes can offer! Not fussed on make, but they have got to fit under 15's and have around a £500 budget So if anybody has some on a car they're breaking soon or if you can point me in a direction of some i would be very thankful Morgey

It will have a bit of pressure there as thats why you have your rocker cover breathers/pcv valve. Have you checked to see they're both open and flow air fairly easily? Im not sure how the pcv valve works tho so that may or may not pass air normally, so might be worth waiting to see what another member says

Mine was clocks, the book speed on a starlets about 106-7mph so if mine did 118 that probably isn't wrong in all fairness

yeah it did, think they had it dynod there aswel and made 205hp i think their dyno's a tiny winey little bit out, according to the spec a few of my friends were quoting it to have yea i saw your car parked up and think i gave you a nod on the way in also! didnt get much chance to watch much go down the strip as i was queuing most the day, however they mis-read my number so i got to go up in the bridge over the start line and watch the HKS boy's do there stuff from up there whilst they sorted out my time slips and i got my PB of a 14.9, which i wasn't expecting as i had a heavier car and a cat converter in this time, guess my new gearbox really did help out

i know he did a ricer flyby in one of the tunnels whilst i was there, sounds awesome! and most probably the car has some serious history! this one back when ceaser had it went from d15, b18 to one of the first home converted k20's in the UK! went like fuck N/A @218whp saw it first hand sit on the bumper of a 500whp corvette upto 120mph so can only imagine how it goes now lol

There was a N/A k20 eg at pod on the weekend was running 13.2's.... a friend of mine ceaser built the red k20 eg that tdi south now use for testing their turbo kits on, over 500hp on a stock motor!!

uk ep91's had even less at 74hp :/ but the ee111 corolla's which also use the 4efe had 89hp. probably mostly down to inlet manifold (exhaust mani?) and the factory map, i think the injectors were different but if the stock ones aren't maxing out then theres no point wasting money on them. i would like to know if the cams were different compared to the ep91's as thats an easy way to make power if they were from another non uk 4efe maybe?

Then your speedo has become less accurate somehow. Changed wheels maybe? Try it with a satnav as see what the difference is, my corolla is 10% out so 100mph is actually only 91 lol my starlets not as bad but its still out

Unless you change the rev limit or gearbox the speed in each gear should always stay the same unless you never hit the rev limiter before, My old one used to to 35 62 85 115 and i had 118 max but that was stock.

Hehe cheers dude, i was very happy with it, everything I've done to it recently should have slowed it down other than the gearbox so to have broke into the 14's made my day

I ran a gt4 but it had white rims i was suprised i actually pulled on it top of 3rd and into 4th broke my previous time, 14.9 with full interior and a cat

Sounds alright might have to make my way there despite feeling like crap
