I think if you bridge the dianostics port in the engine bay you can find out what code the ecu is flashing up. Might help to finding the issue ;)

Sorry its a 51 plate, edited above post. But.. Believe it or not, yup £1200 car then £400 on bc's and the grids each! Obv insurance was another £800 but for a 20 year old its still a bargain! It ran a 15.3 at pod full weight + some shit in the boot Im actually a really jealous at what hes got for the money he paid as its a fantastic car!

Very impressive, nice to see one of these getting used properly! Got a friend with one that believes his is running 214whp with an exhaust (mani and decat) intake + rbc inlet and a k-pro mapped at tdi. Just a shame he wont use it any where! Cares more about his mugen sh*t, harnesses and paint than track or times. Imo whats the point in having a car like that if its not going to get used for its intended purposes!

Stick with it mate! This car (53 t-sport on bc's and grids) sets my mate back less than 2k how it stands! Sorry i was wrong its a 51 plate!

Cut up a tte back box that i got for £27 just for the tail pipe, and running on a 2.5" system with straight thru boxes and a sports cat. Doesnt suit a glanza rear bumper imo, needs another 1/2" atleast

Id guess the nuts cane off the bottom of the mount meaning it can lean more. But the bolts can come out of the engine. One of Mine did then nearly chewed the cambelt up! Just jack or hoist on the engine lift it up a bit n have a look n get some pics so people can asses it abit. Its hard to say whats happened without seeing it -

get some pictures of whats happened mate, im not sure of which part of the mounts dropped? where it mounts to the block or between the mount on the chassis and the mount on the engine? hopefully it will help your car on its way to recovery -
vvtLi ;) boys got lift y0!!

edit: since i was just too slow lol good cars these just dont miss a gear and over rev it as the oil pump will sh*t itself and destroy the engine, seen first hand it happen! otherwise fantastic and underrated cars ;)

Stock replacement. Same clutch as my 4age was about the same price. Clutch plate, cover and bearing id asume.

If its going up and down a few 100 rpm, i would try bleeding the coolant system for air. Easy to do and doesnt cost anything.

I googled some pictures, it does appear that the stub axle is indeed part of the main beam! Basically if we wanted camber it would mean chopping off the stub axle. Having 4 threaded holes putting in and then a good workable hub fitting to the beam. By no means imposible but a fair amount of work! Something id like to do is try fitting the rear sub frame from say a ae92 corolla and utilise the independent rear suspension setup. Would give much better tuning capabilities handling wise!

They need boxing in behind the dash to force the sound out i think!
