The biggest surprise is the sheer size of it, the 1st citys pretty big and when you see that in comparison to the rest of the map its unbelievable! Not played driveclub. The updates have apparently made it much better than the original release was though.

Trancing about on it now. Is pretty good

Yes they probably would as the stock ones do. Make sure the nipples pointing up as a start if not swap them over.

Look for the 4age engine swap thread. Its the same block so the basics are the same. Its a lot of work for not much gain other than you can drop a 4age in at a later date

As requested, one comparison video and tbh its not all that far out going by the clock speed, however the speedo in the corolla was about 5mph further out than the starlet at 100mph before i did the engine swap so it might still be a way off. (Sounds like im defending the starlet quite a lot haha) Starlet vs corolla 0-100: http://youtu.be/ZkDt9L6HAzU

How dis you get them dials in there? Do they just bolt up? I gather you need the speedo signal from the eletric drive but when i tried a set of corolla clocks they were miles out lol. And that seat... thats lush

Well trackings been done and she's driving lovely, everythings so quiet and smooth and the extra gear is great fun. I finish for xmas tomorrow so will look at getting the clutch bled and maybe test fit a couple of pairs of brakes i have laying about. Then once thats done it will be time to focus on the starlet! Heres some pics of the bay complete

c series gearboxes and interchangeability
morgey replied to Chops's topic in Drivetrain & Transmission
A levin bzr C160 cruises at around 2800rpm at 60mph in 6th 195/50/15's I've just got my corolla up and running with one. -
The top ones are for proper camber adjustment the ovalated lower bolts do the same thing so you shouldnt need them as you have the top mounts. Also theres a small amount play in the lower bolt holes so you want to make sure that when them 2 bolts were done up that the hub was lifted to take up the slack in them as if not you can get positive camber which is very bad for handling. A decent alignment center should go over all of this with you tbh

Yeah basically you need or atleast should loosen the red collars off and wind them up to stop the spring moving then tighten them up. Then release the black one and turn the whole shock and spring assembly into the mounting part of it.
