  1. If youve got the money some panels can still be got from toyota. Just had a look and can get a boot floor pan for £320 + import fees
  2. I dont use my starlet as a daily but i would say they would be fine in most conditions i dont worry about what weather i drive in in it and you can still lean on them fairly, albeit restrained slightly. I cant say if they'll be as good as your rs3 in the wet but they're not really aimed at wet weather driving as much as the your's are.
  3. Sound, i should have said a bit of tar and glue or tfr on first to get the surface clean is best so its straight onto the paint, polish can act as a layer inbetween. Either way let me know how you get on. Even if you're not happy id rather know about it
  4. Did you polish it before you stuck them down? If you did that might not help the matter, I've had one on the boot of my car for 8 months and its been fine. Worst case dude hit us up and ill sort you another pair.
  5. I dont but any decent garage should have it on there system
  6. Yeah the tie rod ends adjust the tracking. But ask for the camber to be checked anyway. I know it doesnt seem like theres much play there but you can get a couple of degrees of movement between them shock to hub bolts.
  7. Religion is just another form of government.
  8. That will still affect the tracking. Get it in and get the camber checked too. Theres some adjustment to be had in the hub to shock bolts if they need to adjust it.
  9. Glue. Very hardcore glue. Usually snap the spoiler or ruin the bootlid on removing it. Or in my case the spoiler half fell off haha
  10. Sorry the stickers were a slightly on the small side we thought we had them pretty accurate, how much too small would you say they were and was it just on the bit around the bump strips? Ill get the design tweaked so it doesnt happen to the next person. They are a pain to fit at the best of times though, Mine have a very similar crease and are lifting where the text goes between the 2 teardrops. Looks great in the pics though, you're doing a great job kf restoring it
  11. Clay barring is one of the best ways of removing all the bonded on crap. If you can feel specs even after a polish chances are clay will remove it.
  12. Also use proper brake grease for the sliders. Its silocone based grease if you use any other petroleum based stuff it makes the rubber boots swell and they bind on the sliders. Its generally straight forward theres only 3 moving parts on the front calipers so not much you can do wrong
  13. Moved to correct section
  14. I've seen them on someones car on here before but couldn't tell you who's it was

  16. Im trying to rally up some mates we might make a weekend of it.
  17. Some the brake line bracket on some coilovers can catch on the chassis brake line bracket as you go past straight from one lock to the other
  18. I fear this will be lost on many but it made me chuckle
  19. Drums use different fittings to discs. The flexi needs to suit the setup you have
  20. I havent enjoyed my starlet in a year or 2 now, it drives like a sack of shit and im too slack to fix it, hence i made my daily better instead as that actually drives well lol
  21. Sky were a good call with me, flux were a close match on price but didnt fill me with confidence not knowing what a levin was so never felt like i was 100% insured hence i paid a smidge more and went with sky. I will be trying green light out and will see who comes up best between all 3 at renewal time.
  22. This guy has, its very pic heavy but is a great read. http://www.ukstarletowners.com/topic/56844-nos-testing-vids-trd-group-a-2e-e/
  23. I never realised there was ao mu h involved with getting the nos system heated correctly but i does make sense. Cracking work as usual, always great to see what you've fabbed up to solve you issues
  24. Its probably a c150 or similar.
