Cheers lads Managed to get two speedlines to use as my winter wheels. Will get some winter tyres on them ready for the coming months of shitty weather. Still awaiting my adjustable pan-hard rod, Which presumably got sent today. Once that comes i'll fit and take to a garage to get them to lower front by 10mm and do the geometry all-round. If the rain holds off this weekend i'll fit the stickers, that's a big if in Scotland Driving with coilovers is sweet. Bobbling around corners!

Front break disks wont come off what am i doing wrong?
Jamie5414 replied to nevertomorrow's topic in Braking
This, Tighten them both up equally at the same time, and it will start to come off, then take the two bolts out and smack it off The shitty grub screws on other cars are awful. Starlets FTW. -
Nothing wrong with the whiteline ones, I've had ones before and put denso tape on them, just like new when taking them off a few years later...They are all the same.

Yes it's very funny to hear them bragging about their mum and dad's new financed car for them too. "I turn my lights off and follow the cats eyes on the road for fun sometimes" At this point I am about to throttle them haha. WTF cats eyes are REFLECTIVE not LIGHTS on the road

So went about changing the camber adjustment bolts from steel to stainless, plus stainless washers as I know these rust after time. One bolt + washer changed Lubed ofcourse Ready to be fitted Underneath and arches cleaned - how much shit comes off is unreal! Then all waxoyled and left to dry overnight. Back Coilovers Fitted - Not lowered though, still awaiting pan hard rod then I can lower below standard height. Front's to be fitted tomorrow after the waxoyl is dry on the front two arches. All 4 speedlines cleaned up and new center stickers fitted here is how they came out

Optionla Extra Ignition & Footwell Lights (rare)

Hi, Are these plug and play, and also is the foot well light supposed to light up both foot wells if mounted behind the ashtray, or just the driver side? Many Thanks, Jamie -

I've noticed on a lot of car clubs/forums if there is a minimum post count for access to something, useless crap gets posted everywhere! Replying to more then one person with multiple posts when you can just multi-quote them etc. A few of my suggestions to help buyer protection: -Club membership sign up mandatory field - Enter your address. UKSO send you a code via the post (The membership may need to be put up by £1 to cover this), you enter the code on the forum, which grants you access to the for sale section on that account. -When posting for sale ad's, They must have mandatory picture's with the persons' username beside it on a piece of paper. So if I was to sell a rocker cover, i'd have a piece of paper beside it with "Jamie5414 - UKSO" on, take a picture and use that in the ad. This stops scammers getting a lot of money, because they don't even have the items to take pictures of -Have a feedback system, If they have no feedback, be weary and ask the necessaries before buying. If it sounds too good to be true don't buy it. (This isn't one of my preferred idea's, as it can be exploited of course. But it is a extra level of awareness). -I'm unsure weather VPN's are blocked on this forum, If not this may be another good thing to do/precaution to have? -No instant sign up, Staff approve each user onto the forum - checking their ISP/IP before accepting. Obviously if their ISP is "Cyber Ghost INC", then deny them. Also, Unless people know the "scammer" by name - Moderators & Sys Admins are not supposed to release information about the account associated with forum(s) running certain software, It's protected by the Data Protection Act. If the scammers are stupid enough to sign up using their own name as their username, fair enough As said above by Rock, these precautions/measures will only slow them down, but this is good. A scammer won't like going through all these procedures just to make £50. They will go to another forum without any safety for buyers, it's quicker and easier. On the other hand, this is a lot more work for staff, it is up to them what steps are implemented with their capabilities,

Will be a good weekend coming! MiesterR Coilovers arrived, so pleased with them! Just awaiting my panhard-rod then all can go ahead and be fitted! New wheel nut socket Really hated using a metal one without a coating. So bought one with a plastic coating so it doesn't scratch the alloys Also stickers are ready and sent by morgey!! Here's a picture of them, with the film over the top. Silver, Cement Grey & Black Going to re-do the negative terminal, negative from battery to engine & engine to body. 25mm squared like it should be. Got some silicone hose for all the small vacum hoses, smartened it up a bit - still things to be refurbished though. A few days ago at a lighthouse
