Looking at getting a classic mini, the particular one i'm looking at is a Y reg 1982 Austin Mini Mayfair 998cc in silver, looks relatively solid as I know the sills, scuttle, lower boot, arches, basically everything rusts on them, and it's just over 30 years old, but it looks good for the money and no major things need doing (i.e cutting panels out and replacing), I could just get it and drive it home. I was thinking of getting one and tarting it up a bit, put some nice alloys on it, new suspension, new interior, pull the engine out and replace parts on it that are looking worse for ware

They don't fit unfortunately if it would have been for ep82 then it may have been workable to swap a few cables around as necessary to make it work, oh well

Well now I have another problem with a extension harness I ordered for "4efe wiring", and being sent to me to be used with a 4efte loom/ecu........ He is saying I should chop cables off the extension harness and send that back for a refund!!!! He says it is "not possible" to send the ignition/main/extension harness back for a refund? "Not possible".....right.....

I mentioned this too him a while back, for both the quality of the welding rod and the actual piping, but he insists it is of high grade.

There's better things then national service now, they are called nukes We don't need to get involved in all of this anyway (yes people from Britain got killed, but that's not part of the bigger picture), it would just be a stupid war to take part in. We have enough money to spend on other crap then getting involved in yet another war that has nothing to do with us but david cameron/past PM's feel the need or "responsibility" too since USA is part of the war, fuck the USA, fuck everyone, we need to take care of our own not anyone else -
