  2. I bought this of a friend with the intention of using it for my own car in the future but my plans have changed since I've had my own turbo rebuilt! It's a Td04l off a 2001 impreza it has no damage or play in the shaft was taken off at 65,000 I was told it's doesn't smoke but as I have used it I'm just going on what my friend told me, but it does seem to be very good condition! It will need to be rotated to line up for the intercooler pipe! I'm after £100 ono + postage around £20—£25 UK mainland thanks for looking :-)

  6. The other day I noticed that the clear pipe running down the side of my oil catch can had water in it so I undone the release bolt at the bottom of the catch can to find water draining out! Since then it has stopped smoking completely and as far as I can tell it's no longer burning oil ! I know you can get condensation build up specially with all the wet weather we have had in the past months is this normal? My coolant level did drop a tad when I first fitted the turbo but has stayed level ever since.
  7. The only reason I think thats the problem is when mine does it ive pumped the pedal to try release the engagement and it feels like its sticking like there is no spring back if that makes since! Its as if the bearing is sticking to the clutch plait and not allowing it to disengage! If you manage to find the source of the problem could you post it up.
  8. Standard as in the one with the kit or you haven't changed from what you've had before you fitted the 6 puk?
  9. Mine has just started doing it but it's not so difficult getting it into gear it's getting out of 1st gear it bites every so often! Same as mentioned above its not all the time once in a blue moon! 6 puk unsprung! I'm thinking it's the release bearing as I've read they are sh!t any of you still using the bearing that came with the kit just out of curiosity?

  12. I've got one but it needs rotating though I bought it off a friend who upgraded it's really good condition with no play! I'll get some pics I was going to keep it for the future but I could do with the money to sort my car out!

  16. at a guess it's 200! Envy performance built it but I don't have the paperwork to back that up! Just pictures of it with the sump off!

  18. I'm gutted that I have to part with my car but I can't justify putting anymore money into it! It's smoking at high revs and burning a small amount of oil I've got to be honest! I believe the valve stem seals need replacing! I've spent a small fortune on it from September till now the parts list as follows. Forged engine crower rods Ross racing 74.5mm pistons, uprated cruise valve springs, Sard k24 turbo just had rebuilt with recipes and warranty included, Sard manifold and de-cat with trial 38mm external wastegate with 0.8bar spring and screamer, jperformence fmic, hks mushroom filter relocation kit, TD 6 puk unsprung clutch and lightweight flywheel (3.8kg), bc fully adjustable coilovers, blitz access ecu, blitz nur spec R full stainless steel exhaust, race spec rocker cover with the attachments, oil catch can, red stuff front pads, defi gauges oil temp and boost with control box, buddy club p1 15" alloys with good tyres all round! The car it's self is in very good condition for its age has the odd paint imperfection but you would have to look closely to notice again I'm just trying to be as honest as possible! there is no rust anywhere and the underbody is mint, it's a sunroof model, I'm the second owner since it been Imported the body has 73,000! It's has 11months mot and I've just put 12 months tax on it, it passed the mot with no advisory. £3,650 for more pictures and info please look at my build threat.
  19. I'm going to give it a oil and filter change today and take for a drive up the moors tomorrow and give a good blow out, your property right through! I haven't given it a good run in some time.

  21. Unfortunately because of the fact you never checked it over for yourself I don't think you've got a leg to stand on witch is unfortunate you live and learn hopefully it's not as bad as you think!
  22. Well it's a forged motor witch has done at a guess 10-15k it's weird though as I went out last night and it stopped smoking! And to be fair it only smoked in the top rpm and I drive like a granny most of the time, I'm just going to keep an eye on the oil level a hope for the best. I'll be getting it sorted ASAP! ;-)
