  1. Surprised its dropping off after 7k, thought the 28RS would carry on pulling. Looks a nice power band though
  2. Take some pics... We'll work it out. If it runs without them - chop em off the loom lol.
  3. I don't think its a massively noticeable difference, either way a 4e revs nicer. Don't ruin it with a 5e

Yea you won't have a hope of doing them with anything else, even 25, or 16mm you'd struggle i think.
  5. Nice to see a proper build, look forward to updates. Will be sure to keep track of this!

Just a local place then I've got some hydraulic crimpers to put them on and heatshrink them after. I did my one out of 35mm2 so pretty chunky.
  7. Ive spoke to them about that, just standard labour which is 75+ VAT, and it'll be upto 3 or 4 hours. Let us know if you have copies of ya graphs, be good to have an overlook.
  8. Ah no worries. Good to know tho i suppose. You rate the people that did yours tho? Do you have an AFR plot of yours off the dyno? Need to find some decent mappers down south.
  9. Nah she runs, just with a small fuel leak, need to get that sorted before it goes off for its exhaust but that won't be too long now hopefully. Then ill get a map on it, and build an engine Jan/Feb/March. Ah I've gone for soft as I'm not really gonna drive it all that much on the road. Glad to hear you've had a good experience with them. If they are pap ill throw some dunlops or yoko's on but i couldn't not give them a go for the cost. Yea thats the only down side, semi's do come up wide tho, so they'll basically be a 205 in a normal tyre. You can get R888s or R888r's in that size tho which

Are you having probs with it turning over? Take a look at the latest post in my build thread, i was and made a new earth from the box to the chassis and it sorted it. Ive got some surplus and can make you one if you wish.
  11. No worries, thought id ask depending on how badly you'd want to sell it. Im gonna build an engine at the start of next year but would take it now as it would work nicely with that.
  12. I see! Care to expand? Not that I've ever used them but i was considering. Be interesting to know what bits awful? I was going to use them to do my tracking and alignment also.
  13. Which one was it? There are a couple of Asian turbo companies that make decent replacements
  14. Did you message me on Facebook? Silver but has a dent in?

Do you mean where the engine/box is earthed to the chassis or do you mean where there is earth points on the wiring loom?
  18. Was gonna also say whats wrong with Tdi south? Always heard good reports.
  19. ^ Also ordered some NS2-R ditch finders too so will see how these fair up..
  20. Abbott has a nice tricked out one for sale. Drop him a pm
  21. :D Not loads has been happening recently as still sorting the fuel setup out, should of just stuck with the standard setup haha. There was a reason behind it though.. Ran the vac line from the Tial to the turbo, tried to keep it tidy and out of the way. IMG_2686 by Rob Fisher, on Flickr IMG_2687 by Rob Fisher, on Flickr She was also periodically being a little pig to turn over and i put it down to the lack of ground from the box to the chassis after i moved the battery. Made a ground up and now its all sorted. IMG_2688 by Rob Fisher, on Flickr Finished some more grounds on
  22. Keep it external and not plumbed back in. Not just for the sound but the extra exhaust turbulence it creates which will affect power. It's been tried and tested a few times, and you do get a small drop in power with it plumbed back in because of so.
