Sorry to hear you've had a shit experience. Never fun. I am glad you got it sorted. The map locking thing isn't industry wide, some do it some don't. Some have the opinion that it's the mappers work, it'll stay locked so no one can look at it / copy it etc. At the same time I know a lot of mappers that don't lock it as you are paying them for more than just the service. When you pay for a map, you are paying for that - the map, so you have the legal right to the unlocked file unless you have signed something before saying you don't. -
i actually have a set of trd front arb bushes here!

So I've been having some fun/issues with my fuel system. Where I've had the fittings welded on to the top of the tank, they just aren't seating correctly even after a couple of re-welds due to it being a plated material. So what I've decided to do is start making a new fuel pump hanger out of stainless, and then ill be able to weld the fittings to the take off plate vertically and weld it from both sides. I.e no leaks. Couple of pics stripping a hanger and template for the new top plate. This is whats currently causing the issue. IMG_1931 by Rob Fisher, on Flickr IMG_2635 by Rob Fisher, -
Was also gonna say sounds about right. Plenty of people hitting 350+ on a 2860 at 1.5 ish bar. The wonders of a proper Ecu and map. Makes sense. Good stuff either way.

Ah i see, i wasn't sure if you were cutting the other completely off. Glad its all on tho. Im getting more an more tempted by a '28RS on mine too..
-
Ah got the flange swapped on the mani? Be good to see some better pics of that Nice numbers

They've taken the rear legs and welded them to a cross bar which is between the rear suspension turrets. It would be better if the rear leg's were on top of the rear suspension turrets. You'd usually weld a plate onto the top of that area to strengthen then weld to that. Hard to explain with out a pic. It'll be more than fine though. Is there a X bar in the roof?

The issues you may encounter will be wiring/electronic rather than fitment. Give it a go and let us know what happens lol! -

Kierans Glanza V - Fresh import...

It'll be unlikely it has a hybrid seeing as it has the original efi pipe. Most hybrids run a different compressor housing or larger inlet meaning you wouldn't be able to run that pipe. Only way to truly tell is take it all off. Whats the reasoning for thinking it has one? -
Not sure why they've built the rear of the cage life that but good to see you've got another shell sorted and the build back on track.
-
Tongs hybrid ct9 was one of the best. Their ct12 was ewg only and had a td04 core or something along the lines of that but still ct9 fitment.

Any HT leads available that aren't red or blue?

Just chop it out and trace the wires back to the fusebox and remove from there too.

A clutch that lasts and can take the power
RobSR replied to mark-tozer's topic in Drivetrain & Transmission
Yes they only make noise when the pedal is depressed. If idling in neutral its fine. Mine was off RHD was about 580 shipped i think. -
Standard ecu fuels a td04 fine to 0.7 bar, so leave all the fuelling alone until you have a mappable ecu if you don't know what you are doing.

id recommend an ORC, its what i have in mine. That said they do make abit of noise when the pedal is depressed so you may not like it. -
Dont fit the fcd and run it at 0.7 bar and the standard ecu/fuel setup will fuel it fine until you can afford a proper ecu and map.
