    Forged engine

^ that's a little different lol. The thread was all about doing it to a cost. You wouldn't run into problems, there's all of about 5 4e's over 400 bhp lol. For the average up to 350 brake that people do it's fine. Stock inlet starts restricting stuff before the ignition system will struggle but a lot of people hang on and don't change those for a long time so it's tit for tat. Either way, I'll run cop and an inlet. Just save up and do it properly. If you're a peasant don't try and build a 300+ bhp starlet. It ain't gonna work.
  2. Well they are the two options really. Fit all the Glanza stuff or splice the bits from the gt loom you need. Seeing as you'll need to pull the whole car apart to swap the looms splicing it will be the quicker and easier option. The looms are basically the same, just need to move a few pins on the ecu and add a couple more wires for the different ignition setup, knock sensor etc
  3. Couple of silly offers (it's cheap enough! ) so still available
  4. Got a new WEPR gt series manifold. Brand new, with a 38mm v band wastegate take off. You can run a proper turbo then ;)
  5. Sell the Tongs and buy a gt series and my manifold I have for sale
  6. You won't need to change your wastegate spring if you want to go up to 1.4/1.5 bar. As a loose rule of thumb you can run up to double spring pressure with your ebc so that'll all be ok to 1.6. Like said 440 injectors will be required.

    Forged engine

You can build a forged engine for 2k. Like said its everything that goes with it. Stock ignition is fine if you know what your doing. Let's not forget hrf and cruise both run 400+ on the stock dizzy. If you look into it a 4e rotor arm is basically the same as a 3s and there's people running 600 odd on that.
  8. Buy a gt engine loom and splice it in is the easiest way. You just add the couple of bits you need to your na loom. Failing that you need to swap the entire car to Glanza stuff.
  9. Okay mate. We're you the guy that brought my bros suspension? Drop us a message and we can work something out on price nearer the time.
  10. Thanks mate. Someone must want this, stop mucking around with TD04's and run a proper turbo guys

  12. You could but everything has been built in the engine bay to be perfect so I'm not doing that. Again, its a bodge so ill rectify it properly Exactly. Not bodging it. Its no ones fault the GT28's i know have T3 housings, sacha's thinks they come with T25 flanges so just a miss understanding. He's agreed to do me a deal on another so will order it when i get paid, just another 3-4 week wait. That said, this one is for sale cheap if you want it bower? or anyone else for that matter.
  13. Only problem is a t25 to a t3 is quite a jump and you can see the collector has been made at the right angle and diameter for a t25. It can't be opened up to fit on the right flange as far as I can see!
  14. Yup, these things happen though don't they, at least i don't need to rush anymore. Just want to hear it running again lol! Yea it wasn't crazy money, i think the wire was about 4-5 quid per meter for the 16AMP stuff for the loom, heat shrink i just got off ebay as its all the same stuff. The battery cable i can't really remember how much i paid without looking it up.
  15. Thats interesting,,,thought it would be coming on song a lot sooner than that. May have to rethink my options for later. Whats your rev limit? Gussing over the stock 7200 then?
  16. Well everything was going so well! Went to go and pick up my turbo this evening after finishing work. Not gonna lie, was like an excitable child as its been a long time coming! Got home, got the manifold out to offer everything up and its then i began to notice a couple of things....Yup, the manifold has a T25 not a T3 flange on it! She aint fitting for sh*t. There must of been a misunderstanding from Sacha or an accident thats lent to this... So in a nutshell, no JAE unless Sacha see's my message and somehow gets a manifold to me in a week lol, but the turbo looks awesome, probably wo
  17. May be the clutch still. I had similar symptoms when an exedy clutch I had cracked the centre plate and the springs started popping out. What clutch is it you have now ?
  18. Like mentioned SiCaln had them. There was a second hand set on the auctions the other day and i was very tempted. I was pondering over pads too. Need to find what size they are as to what other options i could use in them
  19. Looks good Like mentioned get one of sacha's manifolds on there.
  20. In a desperate bid to make JAE just ordered a load more bits. New tyres, ball joints, track rod ends, an-4 fittings for turbo oil feed, booked the exhaust for weds 2nd, mot for the 4th, meaning i *should* be able to bring the car on Saturday....
  21. Used 2AWG / 35mm2 , maybe abit overkill. Yup exactly that. Not worth me smoothing the bay, it's still a track car end of the day, albeit a clean one! If it's at jae it'll only be sat night / Sunday morning. Gotta try and get it ready first!
