  1. Are you breaking a whole car ? After some wing mirrors if so!
  2. You can easily hit north of 400 on a GT28 frame turbo. a GT30 is massively overkill. Ive just brought a precision for mine, depending on how i get on with it i may go for one of their 5128's in the future too see how that performs against its equivalent gt28.
  3. With how the manifold sits it should be all okay ! Think yours is tight as its a top mount mani
  4. Got some more done.. Rad mocked up and fitted. Welded the bottom bracket on seeing as all the original bolt holes had been sheared off by a previous owner. 5. Managed to get abit more done today. Decided to take the fittings off and ptfe tape them just to be safe. Fitted my HEL braided clutch line and got the ORC bled up and it feels awesome on the pedal so far. Triple core half rad has arrived too so need to get that fitted but a previous owner has sheared all the mounting points on the front cross member so need to get that sorted too! More updates on tuesday!
  6. Cheers guys Yes hard to see but of course they have been p-clipped!
  7. car will be running end of the month then ill be about
  8. Got the return side of my fuel setup done this evening. Still need to fully tighten the fittings. May ptfe tape some of them up too just to be safe. A load of photos for you all. 9. Turbo Ordered Lets hope it works.....and turns up in time for japfest lol..
  10. Yea that's being done - don't worry! Haha. Thanks mate
  11. Haha, I've got the sard adapter and I've changed the feed end for an AN-8 fitting
  12. Some more pics for you all. Test fitted the manifold and worked out where the fpr is going to go. On the cusp of ordering the turbo too! Don't think anyones running it so should be quite fun. Its only a temporary measure for when it goes back on the road, as in the future I've already decided what I'm running when the engine is built. Managed to crack on with abit more wiring too. Loads more to do tho. Got the fusexbox mounted, can barely see it when the dash is back on which is a bonus! IMG_1862 by Rob Fisher, on Flickr IMG_1863 by Rob Fisher, on Flickr IMG_1864 by Rob Fisher
  13. If I can get it mapped in time and there's some time slots left I'll do it.
  14. Haha it's gonna be tight getting it running and road legal let along getting it on a track unfortunately !
  15. Do it, the reg was like 56 quid. People probably pay more for fakes over here hahaha. #rookies
  16. Do try Don't see why you'd use fake stuff and risk either your life or it all going wrong and ruining the car/engine. For everyones info all the SARD stuff is on offer on RHD at the moment so a good time to buy.
  17. Yea definitely.. Bad thoughts back then ha. Thanks mate
  18. No they don't. You can buy the SARD gauge kit but the gauge doesn't fit in the side of the regulator from memory, you have to run it from a bit of pipe and it looks abit rubbish, so thought I'd put one straight in the side.
  19. Yea E50 map, no wonder. Nice stuff tho
  20. More bits came today! All genuine SARD parts from Japan including Regulator, rail fittings and a Tomei Gauge too. Then lastly my external gate from Lee @ Owen Developments. I did some photography work for the guys a while back and i really like what they do so he's laser'd the OD logo into the top too which is pretty cool! Think i need to order a turbo soon so i have a chance of making Japfest! 21. What boost are you running by the way? Sorry if you've mentioned it. Throw the FCD In the bin. Also you don't need to run 11.0 on boost. 11.5 AFR is still fine and safe. 13-14 cruise is fine.
  22. As mentioned was over there the other night, does sound like its bottom end related after removing other parts it could of been to eliminate it unfortunately. Like said, take it out and send everything to a machine shop with new piston's as the old ones were scored quite badly. Make a good'un out the two you have Cheap wiescos here - http://www.ebay.com/itm/Wiseco-Forged-Pistons-Toyota-Starlet-Glanza-EP82-EP91-4E-5E-Turbo-8-5-1-74-5mm-/231518555284?hash=item35e794cc94&vxp=mtr
  23. Why would you set it at 4.1 bar lol? What was the logic behind that? Like mentioned turn it back to standard at 2.3bar. they run rich enough standard.
