  1. This is a good idea. Owen Developments do a couple of concoptions like this. What power are you looking to hit? Whats your engine spec too? Pistons/Rods/Gasket/Cams etc? All makes a lot of difference.
  2. Why wouldn't it work with your spec? Those or the Blitz/Giken are the best you can get. Ignore what power rating the put on them, they'll take a lot more than that.
  3. You can't really answer that. Being able to get a starlet competitive is going to be hard enough, let alone building one to 450bhp with response. Half the people dragging our cars don't run that much let alone a track focused one. Look at JAMs car, that was sub 1min round Tsukuba with circa 200bhp. Power isn't the be all and end all. Spend your money on the chassis and aero. You'd do better in a 240bhp car on a standard lump with £4000 spent on the chassis, rather than spending £4000 on the engine and not a lot on the actually chassis setup. Then class, well you decide but if i put an EP in
  4. ^ a standard replacement exedy yes. Organics are over 300. My friend ran 290 on his, Abbott on his old gt ran 314 on his I think it was.
  5. if you want 300 don't go for a 20g lol. A standard 05-16g will pull 320 ish at 1.6 bar. Full boost apprx 4.6-4.8k engine spec depending.
  6. Are you guys having issues still on standard flywheels or CC's one too? Exedy Organics are good, nice pedal and will still do about 320bhp. Just avoid their paddles.
  7. Without being rude why even bother going in pro? Don't wanna sound like a dick but you will be getting f@*ked by everything. Go in the pocket rocket class and you may do alright.
  8. Yup! Track is pretty poo too i think. Awful surface. Silverstone is miles better.
  9. Depends what you've ordered. I get lots of bits from them and never really had an issue. DHL shipping is a pain as it then goes through parcel force and held up in customs. It stays there, you then have to wait for the letter saying how much import you need to pay, then you pay it, then you need to wait for delivery again. Fedex bang it straight through and invoice you after. Sometimes they never do.
  10. Got some mad colour schemes going on lol! Be good to see it back on the road
  11. Will do mate! Just need the bits to turn up which should be tomorrow. I'm starting to get the itch to drive it again!
  12. Its 2.2/2.3. You'll be fine at 2.4bar for running in.
  13. Yea no worries, you have dibs mate and your only down the road.
  14. Not a clue what they go for !
  15. Both as the whole bumper will be being changed
  16. I bloody hope mine is done this year haha.
  17. You can do some classes of Time Attack without a cage. What class you planning on entering? If it 100% needs to conform to FIA regs like you say surely you know a bolt in cage won't lol. Be interesting to see your build.
  18. Mine might be available come the end of the month.
  19. You'll need to check the regs, but from what i can remember previously dash dodger ones weren't. Id just go for a weld in if its an out and out track car. What series are you looking to compete in?
  20. Thanks mate Yours is too - wanna paint mine haha? Been speaking to UKSO's resident fabricator and we've come up with a plan for the fuel setup so should have an update on that in the next week or two.
  21. I think combe is shit. Glad its at silverstone.
  22. Couldn't see a cost on the bumper and do you have some closer pics where its been cut?
  23. Doesn't really appear to be many engine bay pics so heres mine IMG_2501 by Rob Fisher, on Flickr
