  1. The prep is the most important part for me due to the fact that most parts going on this car are going to be red/blue/silver etc etc. Hopefully this weekend will see me repair and prep the other rear bumper. This will take some doing, but the car is definately going black. The annoying part of this resto is my passion for it to be spot on. So its going to take several coats of the black! I want to see myself in this car! It will be Toyota's Satin Black - As standard on Si models in the UK. Hopefully il be taking a trip to Kent to get some more odds and sods to complete this build. I need new
  2. Hey guys/girls. It is now about time we got PaseoPIMP advertised to the nation, and world for that matter. I propose that we as a Paseo enthusiast site get as many Paseos here as we can. This involves leafleting and speaking to Paseo owners in our areas. There are quite a few down my way that I see occasionally (usually the same Paseos, just different places and different times), of which I will catch up with asap and get them leaflet'ed. I will be putting a design down on these leaflets this evening to be able to print off and send out to owners we currently have, so you can keep them in
  3. I read about this on your facebook bro, sorry to hear of your loss (little shiney Aygo). Glad you could walk away from this, could have been a hell of alot worse! Harley Wax wont get the scratches out, but it would make them uber shiney!
  4. Not sure to be honest with you mate, I can find out when I can contact them. I'm personally not fancying taking an engine out of it and lugging it home in the back of the Paseo. It would fit, but not well, and I don't wanna ruin all my interior/exterior pieces when it moves around. Especially as I'm only getting a few odds and ends for myself. I can arrange for them to have it waiting for you to collect or something if you like?

    Bad news

Sorry to hear that mate. Really can't be a nice feeling! Hope you can find a small part time job to keep the money rolling into the car!
  6. Right, all being well I will be travelling to a breakers with a Paseo in it on the 28th. Anyone after anything? I will get prices sorted out for you before I go but would require payment pre-visit - so I have the money to pay for it. All parts available, even the engine. Also might visit another Paseo not far from me to remove parts if anyone wants anything. That would be early next month. Get your names down on parts and il send you prices and payment details. Both are Azure Blue ST models.
  7. Mate i'm truely gutted to see this! No more Starlet Plowza. Hope you manage to find the same/similar lip for the next one, that or il rape you. Actually you might like that, so you will get that as a "glad your okay thing"... and your missus too.
  8. Minted. Set of SR decals to bring it back to originality, and then lumped! Also that interior... looks like GLS covers died black.
  9. Zoe loves my wheels, and i've always wanted to put something more OEM on Rhys and make him more of my car (as what you see on mine is practically down to Mikey)... SO shes agreed to swap wheels once I have these re-furbed. Gonna try out some colours on them first. Will be going on mine at the end of the month.
  10. Thanks Gentle Ladies. Today I got cracking on cleaning the interior out. Before: After: Might rip it out and give it a carpet die in black to make the interior easier on the eye - and a tad bit cosey, but for now that looks the part! Then I primered the rear panel - mainly trying to get shot of the rust on the rear arch. Nothing major, just a bit of surface rust on the inner edge, and then a small bubble on the rear flare, the bubble though, was just a weak spot in the paint and there was only a tiny bit of surface rust beneath. Lovely jubbly, nothing serious. I need to filler the de
  11. Damn. Can't justify £30 for a new one :/
  12. RRuns sweet considering its done almost 153k. Start up its croaky but a dab of throttle for a couple of seconds and its fine. Needs a service, new brakes and new shocks and it would go through the MOT.
  13. £380 iddy I'm glad you didn't get it, you would have stripped it and we would have one less Paseo on the road Hopefully should see paint at the beginning of next month
  14. Nope, old one, but theres a way of tuning them in I know that much.
  15. Project Restoration. Project story: It appears to have started life as a demonstrator at Auto Scuderia (Long Ashton) Toyota Garage in Bristol. It's first real owner was a company, again in Bristol as of Sept '97, where it stayed for around 10 years, then passed onto someone, then the previous owner before me. The car has 150k on the clock but runs well. The shock absorbers are forked, the brakes are ok but need replacing before MOT methinks. I believe most of these miles were done motorway with the company, so was no expense spared as a company car? Either way, it doesn't seem to burn oil a
  16. Neither of those two work

    Key Fob..

Anyone know how to tune one in? I remember something from the old Paseo Club where its sort of lock, unlock, lock, unlock etc until it actually locks and unlocks the car. Can anyone shed some light? Sam
  18. No worries on the seats, after the grey leather ones that were optional. Never mind. Drop me a line when you get the pics up or find me on facebook ( Sam Jarvis - Taunton, Somerset ) and send them across. I can't pay until the end of the month as I have just changed jobs, but as soon as the 28th comes by, il take them off your hands. There was no real hurry for them in the first place Cheers for that bro, if your at JAE next year il grab you a few beers for your waking up early!
  19. What seats are in it? If they are leather, can you price me up on front and back seats + doorcards please? Cheers me dears
  20. Get picture whoring! If you ever sell the alloys, lemme know
  21. Hey man, il have the bootlock mechanism from it if you can? Open the boot using the lever in the footwell and theres two bolts and a pully thing holding it in. Get the pully thing off of the plastic clips, then unscrew the two 10mm bolts and its off. Probs get away with pocket jobbie and il buy it off you? Also the foglight button.. Thin flat-head screwdriver and lever it out, if you can cut the wire on the back with about 5ish cm of wire please? Muchos thankyos
  22. You're gonna drive it with no bodywork at all? THAT would be the lightest GT Great work boys, looking forward to more!
  23. Take up a small job and get amazing at it, then they wont let you go
  24. Old Ford Ka's... Sodding awful little boxes. Not too keen on the new one but its less of an eye sore.
