I know you said you would prefer a glanza box but I have a OEM lsd box from a gt here, great condition no crunches or whines, selects every gear perfectly, with shafts and poly bushed mounts, £500. Cheers
Not much aesthetically, you built it pretty spot on, wheels still need a refurb and i need to get it sitting right, lower and some camber. She has however had a new heart and been stripped out. I should really update my thread more often! She's in good hands though.
I'll be meeting everyone at around 8 in the house of Fraser/glow car park at 8. Grabbing something to eat before so you may see my car parked up. Will probably go five guys so anyone's welcome to join!
I'm well up for this!! There is a huge meet at lakeside apparently though but I'm sure the police will be all over it. A relaxed meet in bluewater sounds ideal. House of Fraser/glow is perfect
I really do hope this is a one off and TD or whoever is responsible has a valid excuse. Just glad to know the cars back on the road and done to a good high quality standard that Quest Motorsport always provide.
Lovely motor mate! Well worth what you paid. People have many opinions on gizmos but from my experience they are quite simply shit. Rip it out and get a GFB force 2 boost controller from Mike at TD!
Alright guys, Looking for a steering wheel boss, must be in good condition and must have the brass ring so that the horn can be used. Also looking for a steering wheel, preferably 300mm and suede but let me know what you've got! Thanks Matt
You know what I think of this man, so sick! I'll be honest, I was looking forward to seeing how you made the wheels fit, I thought it would be a disaster but looks absolutely spot on IMO. Good job man!
I tried swapping the housing but the ct16 propeller is actually smaller and there is a gap all the way round. As well the lips where both sides of the turbo clamp together are completely different. Strange yet the inlet or where the air filter goes is slightly larger than the ct9. I'm interested in knowing what figures the ct16 can make.. See if it's worthwhile having a manifold and downpipe made to suit the current exhaust housing
Afternoon lads, Does anyone have any knowledge of ct16's? I have been given one for free and it's in very good shape. Thinking it may be an upgrade on my ct9 just looking for some advice really. All I can guess is that I'll have to use the exhaust side of the ct9 as the flanges are different. The turbo was originally from a Toyota Hiace 2.5 D4D and has a part number which is 17201-30030. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Matt
