  1. Thanks for you info / opinion Enzo, it seems not many peole go from high boost ct9's to hybrids...... I've checked your graphs on a few occasions and compared to my own CT9 graphs, i can totally see where the difference is but I just cant deceide.....i love the low down torque kick so much. But the fact a hybrid would be a brand new turbo, meaning no thinking about it smoking in a few months would be a big plus. All swings and roundabouts. I could really do with sampling a hybrid on another starlet to make a direct comparision i think, shame there are no hybrid starlets round my parts thou
  2. Whats this Pukka Performance thing all about? I dont get it? Good pics and vids though.
  3. Mine used to come on before i hit fuel cut too.....
  4. Diagnostics check will confirm what it was. As said chances are it was fuel cut, well warning you your going it hit it.
  5. My 3rd CT9 has given up, seals are going, smoking etc. im getting the picture they dont like 1.2bar. So rather than get another CT9 and it lasting a few months im thinking of getting a Hybrid, again. I had a blitz K1 but prior to that id only run low boost on CT9's. After the K1 went I started running CT9's at high boost, and i prefered them to the K1 for the massive low down kick they give. If I go back to a hybrid will the massive low down kick disappear? The K1 was wank for low down power, what are GT specs like in this area? Has anyone gone from a high boost CT9 to a Hybrid? If so wha
  6. I know what you mean about the wanting something more refined..... If i could afford something as powerful but more refined id jump ship. If you can afford it id go for it.
  7. If you need a hand mate just drop me a PM and i can pop round show you whats what.

  9. Its wank having it stripped on a daily driver......had mine stripped for a good 6 month and it drove me mental, you will hear everything. Put the interior back and it was like driving a different car, felt so much more refined and nicer to drive. Performance felt no different, infact it felt more balanced with the interior in. Just my 2p but id say try it and see what works for you.
  10. gizzmo, only one ive used, bang on too.... pre flash and main flash can both be set to desired rpm, made from cf so looks a treat, nice and small and can set brightness level.
  11. Thought so, looks a treat. Any major plans for it?
  12. Seen this other day twice I think?
  13. Go to your nearest DVLA office and they sort your tax disk out there and then. Mate had to do same thing other week.
  14. Is this on Sunday or Saturday? Sunday is the 14th not 13th like it says in first post?
  15. Ct9 is 39mm iirc, this was the nearest thing i found. You can just mount a lil motorcross filter straight off the turbo with no pipework. Seen this done plenty of times before. Also can you not just cut a hole in the aircon rad for a pipe to go through then seal up the rad? Or is there any way of moving the aircon rad further to the right?
  16. If i was you id get some management and knock it upto a bar boost. Maybe go fcd and rrfpr if your on a budget.
  17. I think that lil filter could work well, i know plenty of people who run motocross filter with no probs, its a tiny ct9 how much air can it suck? Couldn't you point the little filter upwards, like in the same direction of the efi pipe?
  18. Weather, its warmed up, less dense air, less boost.
  19. I was going to try this when i still had aircon http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/AIR-FILTER-POLINI-RA...=item5d23d82b63 Then i manned up and removed the aircon, maybe someone can try it.
  20. I noticed a nice difference when i put a de-cat on my n/a. But i kept the middle box and SR backbox. Maybe a full system would not be such a good idea with a de cat, it will be silly loud.
  21. To be honest your probably better off going for the ms-ibc, more features than the ibc. Also the ms-ibc has a proper decent boost cut function, if you over boost it actually cuts boost rather than just flashing at you like most others do. So if anything every went wrong and you were going to overboost it stop it. Also has the scramble function which is pretty cools.
  22. ^^ Very user friendly, there is only 2 buttons. Press and hold one buton and you can adjust the duty up and down, press and hold it again and you can adjust the gain up and down. Press it again and its done.
  23. Dont look fake or a scam to me, not underpriced is it?
  24. Seen the adverts for it on tv but not got a PS3 (Xbox 360 for me). Whats it all about looks pretty cool from the advert.
