Does This Look Like A Case Of Boost Creep?
DavidAshton replied to daz gt turbz's topic in Intake, Turbo & Exhaust
No, the boost drops, its not creeping. Looks like a worn out standard actuator to me. -

Love it, looks like a ninja all in black! -
1 = soft, 8 = stiff Fronts are adjustable too from the top of the strut.

You sure the black oily stuff on idle is not just condensation mixing with carbon deposits in the backbox?

^^ thats a good one, just sort of thing im after but its not available for me i need letter before P, 88 and DJA.

All 91's are over the studs in my experience. They got hot because they are tiny and crap.

As standard does it not use an O ring? Meaning there will be no standard part to mate an aftermarket backbox to standard pipework.

Reducing Boost Without Adjusting Actuator
DavidAshton replied to Carl.'s topic in Intake, Turbo & Exhaust
I asked if you had a tmic because when I had mine on a tmic it would creep really bad, soon as i switched to fmic it settled down a lot. I still cant get mine perfect even with the wastegate ported as much as possible, its still 1 bar creep to 1.1 and thats with a decent boost controller, ct9's are difficult to get boosting properly with a free flowing set up. -

Reducing Boost Without Adjusting Actuator
DavidAshton replied to Carl.'s topic in Intake, Turbo & Exhaust
I know someone who had the exact same issue as you have described above. What he did to cure it was put in the little metal reducer ring that comes with the hks actuators and that sorted it. No idea how / why but it did. Strange actually, was also a white 98 spec he had. If that dont work you could lower the actuator boost and try bringing it back upto 0.8 bar with a boost controller, ive got a manual one you could borrow if need be. -
Dammmmmnnnnnn super hot.....didnt want to click this thread because i knew id want some even more......want want want now! I also spot another silver V on your drive, yours?

Did you not post a bit back about your neighbours complaining to your brother about your alarm? Sure people told you in that thread to turn them off. Id just get them turned off. My alarm if you press arm twice it flicks them off but leaves all other zones active, does yours not have a similar feature? If your still worrried about security why not get some flashing led window things. They are a good deterrant. Tbh im with your neighbours on this, nothing worse than inconsideret neighbours who let alarms go off / dogs bark all the time etc.

Happened to me mate about a year ago, company went bust, last payslip on a cheque, cheque bounced. Basically your fucked, i never saw a penny of it, there are no specific legal bodies to help you. I know for a start you have to send your employer a letter requesting your wages and they have a month to reply before you can even think about taking it to court. Even if it get to court, chances are your employer will say they have no money and that will be that. You will be at the bottom of the list esp. if other companies are owed coin.

Boost controller you using out of interest?
-
You can only boost above your actuator level, not below. 0.7 bar actuator with 0.8 bar via boost controller will work fine.

Nightmare to remove. You need to hold the outer ring still and unscrew the screw. As there plastic if you put any pressure onto it, it just pushes the screw in, so you have to unscrew them without pushing them in if you get me. Once you get one out you will understand.

I Want To Enquire About Glanza Parts From Toyota
DavidAshton replied to Amjad's topic in Specific Images & Part Numbers
They can do it with no chasis number, there just being lazy or retarded. Use www.toyodiy.com im sure it generates a generic chasis code. Got bored and did it for you: EP91-AGMQY -
Whats the style / fomat of this photography called? Like a lot too.

This thread / argument is boring now, his car upto him what he does. What Rick did is never going to go away, what it evolves into makes no difference to the work that was put in. He has to drive it, not anyone else on here.

What happens to all the torque, seem to drop far too early to me, whats it like on the road?
