Its down Attercliffe Road then you turn left somewhere, Im pretty sure its Effingham Street, Sheffield. Not been for a while because its dodgy as feck, its not a proper scrap yard its this big building with green shutters at the front, you have to park up outside and ring that number on the ebay listing then these blokes appear in an evo and let you in. Then this building is just full of smashed up cars. I got some GT turbo seats one time and a strut bar another time. I wouldnt fancy going up on my own though.....let us know if your going down there are some bits id like to look at if you go.

Did it have anything worth salvaging off it, its only 5 mins away from me that scrap yard?

Was touching fuel cut so decided to get a toytuning adjustable actuator to try and calm things down. I wanted to set the actuator up so I was running .8 bar. The best I could do was to get it to initially spool to just over .6 bar then after around 4000rpm it creeps up to .8 bar and seems to hold it. Its not too bad when im giving it some, because i can keep it above 4000rpm so it stays around .8 bar. But is there anyway I can get it to spool staright to .8 and stay there. I can live with it how it is but would like it to be perfect. Ive read various topics on boost creep and it seems the best cure would be to port the wastegate, but i dont have the time or confidence to do that. So I was thinking would an MBC sort things if i set the actuator to spool straight to .8 bar then used the MBC to keep it there. Would this work? Or any other sugestions? My actuator is running straight to the turbo (no Hi/Lo). Current engine spec is Standard air box with HKS panel filter, RX7 TMIC, decat and HKS cat back exhaust (with no middle box). Thanks David

It was included in the £300 for the alarm, but i guess it depends where abouts your based.

I found them on ebay first then linked to there site http://www.motorguarduk.co.uk/ know there stuff and were very helpful when I had to change fitting days and the bloke who came to fit it was sound.
-
It was £300 for the alarm plus fitting at my house, £50 for the proximity sensors and another £50 for a passenger side door motor (although i think they shafted me on this because i could tell none of the door card had been removed) and the turbo timer was thrown in free. Not cheap but you cant put a price on knowing your car is safe.

Ive got a viper 480xv with built in turbo timer so I can fully arm the alarm with the turbo timer still running. I also got proximity sensors installed too so it goes mental if anyone even goes near my car. Has full CAT1 status and the best bit is it has a digital screen reciever thing so i know if anyone goes near the car exactly where they are also shows me ive locked the car so when i tweak out and think ive left it unlocked i just check the reciever and it tells me she is all armed and locked up. It wasnt cheap but i do feel safe leaving my car now.

I get bugger all in the V £20 gets me 200km so 125 miles, i think to fill it up now would be about £40 so 250 miles to a full tank i would imagine.

Hi silents are really quiet, its ok if you like a quiet exhaust. I had the middle box cut out of mine due to it being smashed in, worked out for the best though made a miles better noise after and now with the decat in its mega loud. Either way I thing they suit the Glanza's better than any other exhaust. You will enjoy it im sure. Nice car by the way.

I know exactly what its like owning an n/a and wanting a Glanza had that for a year, but its worth the wait in the end I promise you. Save up for a V you wont regret it.

Had exactly the same two emails, clearly some kind off scam as the number is not the same as on there web site, im insured with them and my reference number is totally different. Also these fell into my junk mail where as all my other stuff from them didnt.

My Glanza red lines at 60 MPH in second, stick yours in second and see what speed your doing just before the red line.

Use someones sat nav with speedo thing on? Could always go through a speed camera and see if it flashes

Sorry didnt really know what say in reply.....still way too confused by it.....has not actually slipped in a while but feels down on power, but then i think is it actually down on power or am i just used to it? Ive also fitted my decat now and im suffering from boost creep so cant push the car too much uptill my actuator arrives. Once ive got all that sorted ill re address the clutch issue and see how i feel abaout it. Its a lot of money wasted if it doesnt actually need doing....thanks for advise though Joz super helpful as always.

After just a day over a month of Glanza ownership im having clutch issues. Slips sometimes then doesnt, even when its not slipping it doesnt feel like it putting power down like it used to. So im going to replace the clutch. Now there seem to be quite a few options with very different prices so just wondering what would be best? Not going to replace it with another standard one (thats if it currently has a standard one). I dont plan on running mega power so just want something thats better than standard and can easily handle 150 - 160 bhp. My options ive looked at so far (£300 is max i want to pay as im going to have to pay to get it installed) : The one on toytuning being the Exedy Organic Clutch kit Exedy one on ebay Exedy racing clutch on ebay Why is the first one on ebay so cheap compared to the rest? Whats best between the racing and the organic one? Is there any others that people would recomend? Also why im i having these issues with the clutch only slipping sometimes? Any help would be greatly apriciated. Thanks David
