Yer and thanks, I did receive the day before my old was smashed into, I a load of service parts so I'll just put them on this.

Same plan I've had in my head for last two which is making look how i want, and slowly do bits to the engine and see what i can get out of the 4efe

So this is now my third Starlet, The first one was a White SR which I put in a bush but still drove it for 3 months after it happened. (Build thread: http://www.ukstarletowners.com/topic/84287-petes-white-sr-build-mr2-throttle-body-dynoed/) Then I had my second one which was turquoise but was unfortunately hit head on after the other person hadn't given way on a round about (Build Thread:http://www.ukstarletowners.com/topic/92700-petes-second-starlet-in-turquoise/) So now this is the starlet I picked up yesterday. Paid abit more than I did than the other two but its worth it. Its so unbelievably clean to the point anything was there from factory as the radio is and the cig lighter is still looks to be brand new and the dash isn't broken unlike all the starlets I've had or worked on. The body work is really good as well still has a few age related marks but that is expected for a car this age but no dents at all. It has 85,000 on the clock which isn't as good as the the turquoise one which is at 66,000. So here is a few pictures of the new starlet. Also did a repair on one of my indicators that had broke in the usual place. I would rather do this repair this diy as you can't see when its on the car but it saves me money and means that a starlet part hasn't gone in the bin.

Problem is that I'm under 21 so it can be hard but I been told to ring again tomorrow to see if they can insure my new car, yer it is annoying that I'll lose the time I've put in the car and I'll probably still lose money. Way to deal with it is to get it sorted and more on.

If I can get the car would anyone want any of parts that I'm not keeping myself so the engine etc?

well see if I can get the car back depending on what they say but failing that going to see if I can get the wheels and suspension back at least. my policy doesn't have courtesy car but I've called them to do see what I can do/get and they may be able to get a hire car and cover the costs of it but waiting to hear back.

The light blue colour and I need a car to get work but currently can't anything from my insurer until the claim is taken off hold as the car needs inspecting. So can't insure the new one or get a rental from from them. Could get temp cover but it is bloody expensive.

Went and picked up another starlet today but can't insure it until this car is evaluated so kinda carless atm which sucks.

Didn't know that may have to look into it

Got most of them back but the two most expensive ones have got to stay on for inspection

Chassis bent so insurance is going to write it off

Nice! Been looking for one locally for awhile with no luck, rarer not to have power steering than do. Was the rack the only thing you had to swap or the column etc as well?

You can also use na brake lines I believe. Most na's don't come with abs

Is that rack from a ep82 or ep91?

I have had to do mine another way as the person who had done it before had done it a different way and I wanted to do redo it and make stronger. There are little tabs just under the headlights they are different, small on the na and large on the glanza, so you have to go past them with the na part of the bumper or remove the tabs. Now there are many methods to attach the two bumpers I have gone for plastic welding, but you can go fibre glass and few others, research them and select the one you'll find easier or what you think is going to be most effective.
