Pick it up today in my mates awesome disco! Was a nice day out! The car cleaned up nicely.

As some people know I was meant to be building a 4EFTE Micra but that fell through to extreme amounts of rust etc. Next option was an EP82 and this one came up at a bargain price with not much work needed doing. Collecting it tomorrow morning! Bonnet, front bumper, headlights are being sourced first. I will then carbon wrap the roof. Which will make the car look cleanish. Next plan after that is to fit some coilovers, panhard rod and some nice wheels I am thinking 16x7 with 225/40/16 tyres. Also is there any advise on anything to look at? Will be compression testing the engine,

Not going to like but theres a member on here and on the facebook page who sells shitty rep harnesses at stupid money and makes a mint. Its scary what people buy in rep forms. My biggest hate is rep wheels sometimes they are more money than the real things. Only time I can understand rep wheels is if its a track or drift car.

Its officially been replaced with a tatty old gt turbo which i am collecting next weekend. Basically turning it into a cheap track slag.

Starlet has been sourced!!

All depends the guy never got back to me about the rx7 for ages. Its either starlet or rx7. One of the two.

Theres an ep82 starlet at my local scrappy. This weekend i can go there and see if I can acquire them for you mate.

My mate now owns this car. Awesome little thing.

Got some savings so I can afford a starlet gt turbo. Bodywork condition does not bother me one bit. Main concern is that it must have good running gear and a good running engine.

I know mate but it just got silly how much I was spending on a micra when I can get my dream car instead. I will be getting a genuine super turbo when I get the money to import one from japan so I will have another k10 soon.

Im always honest on this blog and I am trying to look for reasons to carry on this build as I am currently going through a strong lack of moral. I really really want to sell up and buy an FC rx7 turbo as its one of my dream cars. This project is very possible but Im starting to think it might not live up to what I want it to be.

Mate you should have asked I could have made one up out of copper for you which would have done the job.

I know in the old days of cars they didn't use flexy exhausts. Used solid exhaust with loose/very flexible exhaust mounts.

You can get stainless steel ones from demon tweeks if you are worried. If it's meant for hot water will be made out of the same brital plastic radiators are made out of. Should deal with heat but it's just an issue if the oil starts to damage the plastic.

I will be getting the AEM afr and the luminition afr can be sold at anytime mate. I got need need for it and it's currently in my car. Remember rightly it comes with a ford/bosch lamba which seemed to work fine with my bike carbs. I got a PDF file for the instructions as well which tells you all the wiring diagrams and how to tell what your afr is when which LEDs are lit up

I know mate I live down south and its really bad where I am. Every last thing will be declared even down to tinted windows. Sky insurance gave me a rough quote of £1100 which I didn't think was that bad.

To be honest I am not a fan of micras anymore. they are too much of a paint to modify. you never get any bolt on cars. if I ever write off this red micra I will be moving to a gt turbo advance. Yeah its getting there slowly mate aiming to get it done by the end of this year. wont be on the road until I am 21 so I can get all mods declared and fully comp with sky insurance.
