People ending auction early because they not got the price
adzy replied to jellybaby's topic in Lifestyle General
I'm not sure but this seems to be happening more now! A mate won a bid for a full fiesta St wiring loom brand new for £10 on ebay, paid and all, and shortly after got a refund for some stupid reason. It was £800 new from ford. Seems a bit unfair the way people can do that -
i'm guessing he means 0.7mm, not 7mm to 10mm lol

Anyone? Also noticed if I'm at low revs in say 2nd gear take my foot of the throttle then go onto throttle again there is a clunk noise
-
I had a listen there and can't really hear any difference tbh. Once the car has been driven for a while it stops making any noise but it takes longer than just the time for the engine to get up to temp.
-
When I let the clutch out and reach the biting point there is a loud whine/groaning noise, this happens nearly everytime in reverse and very occasionally in 1st when moving of slowly. What could this be? If it was the release bearing I would have thought it would have been whining every time the clutch was pressed/released? Thanks

I thought it sounded like ryobi or montupet. Did you just slide them up the needle then? It's the temp/fuel one that's worrying me atm Got some of that polish company moman
-
Looks great! Where do you work? We have a vapour blaster in work but they'd have a fit if I used it on car parts lol. Also did you remove the needles to fit the dials? I have new dials here just don't know what way to go about it :/

Vac pipe goes into black sensor, both reds are positive, blacks are earths, the white connects to the other white it's the sensor wire, and the yellow goes to the sidelights switched positive
-
Is it a genuine apexi one or an eBay copy? I had a eBay one and it wouldn't light up or read boost.
-
Good seller! Good communication Very fast postage (tracking number supplied also) Very well packaged Would recommend and would use again
-
Nice! Look forward to the in car footage! Some whine of that charger!

How long ago was it? Will prob take a day or 2 to go into your account? Same way as if you pay by card it takes a few days to actually go out of your account?
-
I think it's prob going to end up with me taking a pic of the needle positions so I know where they are then removing them

I'm debating wether to polish my rocker cover or paint it red and then just sand the Toyota and the lines back to metal. Mine isn't painted atm so polishing would be handy. Looking well, I was going to go for a purple bay but decided to go red in the end

I know a lot of glanzas over here are just insured as 1.3 starlets as they are just a 1.3 on the tax book. I personally wouldn't do this as your basically paying for insurance that you won't have if you did have an accident.

Yeh it's still in there, remote start doesn't work but think I'll stick a battery in the remote and see if it goes. Are you from coleraine by any chance?
-
When did you own it? Do you know anything about the turbo timer/remote start thing?
-
Looking well! That front lip really transforms the front of it. Never been to harmony hill before!

I used halfords spray paint, first time to use it and have to say it's as good if not better than hycote. Yeh easy to do, I primered it all, then painted the middle red, let it dry, taped it up, then did the ends
-
Thanks pal! Really freshened it up, turned out better than I expected
-
Thanks mate! Cheers
-
Haha, was surprised no one had said this yet as there isn't that many of them over here. I'll look after her well ;)

Cheers makes a massive difference to how it looks inside! I'm not 100% sure but they look like escort rs turbo recaros, I'll try get a pic up of them sometime. Plan to change them some time in the future.
