  1. I got one booked for 2 weeks later so not too bad, enniskilken is def handier to get into than round Belfast! Not 100% sure yet but think it's the PCV as its blowing oil out the breather and dipstick. EML light comes on when driving to and the car lurches
  2. Yeh it's handy enough to do, mine is my daily so I can't take it of the road lol Yes nice and firm, and actually less harsh on bumps now! Thanks mate
  3. Glad you got the starting issue sorted! Mine is for mot this month to, was Ment to be Friday but I've had to cancel as she's developed some issues last night, so need to get that sorted 1st :/
  4. New PCV ordered, hopefully that's all it is
  5. I'm not into gaming at all but if this is like nfsu2 I'll have to buy a play station lol Loved that game!
  6. Thanks lad! Yeh that's exactly what mine is like now! The cup holders and coins rattle like mad lol I had gathered mine up over s few months so it had spread the cost abit, but I'd say roughly £160 for the front end? That's engine/gearbox, lower arms and ARB. Worth doing I think, I was suprised at how much better it drives, and I still haven't really got testing it out well on the backroads lol
  7. Engine management light started coming on occasionally on the way home tonight, the car would lurch and the Rev needle drop away down then up etc. 90% of the time driving it was fine, but I took it easy, also I wasn't on boost when this was happening, maybe 2k revs Looked under the bonnet and my oil breather filter is wet with oil and the dipstick is covered in oil the whole way up. Also a stain around the bottom of the PCV, and Phil did point it out to me on Friday that it looked like it was going. Any help would be appreciated
  8. Yeh there more to it than just unbolting the box! When I was changing mine I brought it to a mate who's a mechanic and I gave him a hand. Took us over 3 hours. If it wasn't my daily I'd have tried it myself as it wouldn't matter if I didn't get it sorted for a while But I wouldn't recommend Doing it yourself if you've not much experience unless as StuDoc says you have someone helping you who knows what they're at
  9. Check your top mounts are the same way around? Have seen a few starlets were they were opposite give different castor for each wheel. I assume you mean it was 3 degrees out? Lol
  10. Could it be with your car being mapped and running different boost you maybe need to adjust your dumpvalve? As its maybe only releasing some air and your getting a smaller amount of surge?
  11. few bits and pieces have been done over the past few weeks gave my headlights and fogs a quick buff, this is the only comparison pic i have tho my starter motor gave up, so i got a new one from hookie, and bought a powerflow exhaust of him aswel gave it a quick polish fitted a new adjustable actuator exhaust mounted with new powerflex bushes i then set about getting this lot fitted, superpro bushes and JD tuning engine and gear box mount bushes, new ball joints and new droplinks out with the old and the new ready t
  12. looks well mate! like your wheels!
  13. When you polish a car you need to protect it with a decent wax. I had a black Leon an used some poorboys nattys paste wax blue on it, gives a great shine and lasts a decent while too, not dear either
  14. I'd recommend it, I put one on mine recently and even running standard boost you notice the boost comes in alot stronger. I bought one from racetech and it was about £70 I think
  15. Didn't realise there was another page here hence why the reply doesn't make sense lol Glad you got the insurance sorted! Sounds like a good price tbh
  16. If they're Toyota parts I wouldn't declare them tbh, didn't do it on my starlet, only declared the suspension was lowered. It's not like they're aftermarket parts.
  17. I bought whiteline ones from idworkz for less than £30 for a pair
  18. I put a na box in my glanza and just used my glanza shafts, and mounts are the same too.
  19. Yeh mine does that too!
  20. Sounds like everything that should come on when you turn your sidelights on doesn't then, guessing the rear number plate lights aren't working either then?
  21. Sounds like they just didn't centre the wheel properly before doing the alignment. If the car goes straight when you let go of the wheel it sounds spot on
  22. Sounds like panard rod bushes to me. Mine was all over the place when I had a bust shock but I replaced it and sorted it right out.
  23. Sure that's not the whole intercooler? Lol
  24. Scrapped mine the other week! Lol I'd imagine there are plenty about as everyone usually removes them
