JDM-EP GROUP BUY - Quick Release Steering Wheel Hub Adaptor
Bug679 replied to Socks's topic in Group Buys
Didn't see this any chance could jump in one the cancelled spots for a purple one ? -
Pretty sure innovate use a 1/8 standard pt so it should fit most sandwich plates. When i was getting one for my greddy to the only one the probe would fit into barring the greddy one was the MFACTORY oil sandwich plate. it had a fin further back so would let the probe fit in , ended up just drilling a hole in the sump and welding a nut on to suit the probe

Funny enough had my box off today to change release bearing and noticed the splined hub on friction plate is loose and it's doing the same as you describe. Juddering taking off. Ya could be looking at a new clutch. Is there any noise when your driving ?

.No plans to go on track anytime soon Cheers folks I'll have to get some prices sorted then.Think the ebay kyb would be legit ? like the like of a set of these ? http://www.ebay.ie/itm/KYB-Toyota-Starlet-EP9-Passeo-Front-Shock-Absorber-333209-/252063145669?hash=item3ab0225ec5:g:zdoAAOSw3ydV1XBt

Cheers mate, might just do that. think there's a couple a trd shock in it but they look to be getting on a bit can't afford coilies and think they'd be to stiff anyway.Heard good things about the kyb gas shocks alright. So you would recommend to go for KYB Gas shocks and apexi springs? Thanks
-
So this is how I done it anyway hope it works for you to 😀 The black wire is the original horn wire and just made a 5 inch piece up the green one female one end and ring end the other. My ring end wasn't big enough so just snipped it 😂 Place the ring end on the hub so it lines up with a bolt hole to hold on the steering wheel and tuck the wires away Then tuck the wires away and place the steering wheel on so it sandwiches the ring end on and then bolt it all back up Try the horn should work. Hope it sorts it out.

Might be interested in one also if there not to expensive 😀

Hey guys an gurls , Just looking to see if anyone knows the standard ride height ep91 glanza v have from the factory? Just curious don't need new springs or struts like that just would like to know how my car is lowered ,so if i do get new springs after awhile i know what to order,as they are dead on for the roads i drive on as their bumpty bastard roads and it seems to be sitting nicely. Thanks

Here's a write up I found about taking them apart the bulbs look to be leds soldered on the board. Have a look see what ya reckon http://www.s2ki.com/s2000/topic/155820-changing-defi-bf-gauge-color-in-easy-9-steps-the-cheap-way/

Is there two connections on back of horn button ? Plug one to the original horn wire with piece of wire and proper connectors and on the other one use a piece of wire with ring connector one end and place it between the wheel and hub so bolt goes through the hole and it should work. That's the way my is done. It needs to be earthed. Hope that helps you. I can take a pic but it would be Tuesday as its my day off 😀

Ya I hear where your coming from so atm it's setup in the car I've no fueling mods no fcd so am just leaving it and am going to a local tuner who knows his stuff, he's a bit expensive but think it'll be better if he does it and for my engine lol. As for the timing you can't control it on apexi neo just trim the fuel which also messes with the timing so he said he can do it and highly recommended so, and the cars fueling dead on according to the Wideband. Thanks
-
It's all set up now and I'll be taking it to a tuner to set the fueling as I'll end up blowing the engine lol. Thanks again for the help guys 👍🏻

It's a hybrid ct9 bought off a member on here. The fueling system is completely stock I sold all the fueling mods I had and Colin said am running very lean that's why am asking should I get a rrfpr and turn up the fuel ? Then trim the fuel back with the apexi neo. Am gonna stay out of boost till I can get this sorted thanks lads. I'll get a video up tomorrow hopefully it'll make more sense lol
