  1. I've got a bug eye rolla manifold on mine, makes a big difference in the way the car pulls, I think the glanza manifold has a slightly higher max hp but less torque
  2. okay, il look into those then, and il avoid EBC!
  3. Looks good dude! Be interested to know if the 4efte ecu make a good difference or not too
  4. if i diconnect my battery to do some bits on the car will i need the radio code to make it work again? dont think i needed one last time? its got an aftermarket radio in it at the moment
  5. I've got direnza springs on mine and mines non turbo, i know its a '91 and not an 82 but i think they fit the same? http://www.direnza.co.uk/direnza-tuv-lowering-springs-suspension-40mm-toyota-starlet-1-1-1-3-p8.html http://www.direnza.co.uk/direnza-tuv-lowering-springs-suspension-40mm-toyota-starlet-1-1-1-3-p7.html one of those i think? mine was P9
  6. Send me some pictures dude? Or I can come see it tomorrow??
  7. http://www.simoniracing.com/store/en/meters/1991-strumenti-2-carbon-look.html?search_query=tachometer&results=26 anyone know if this is any good? or simoni gear is any good? http://www.amazon.com/Bosch-SP0F000025-Sport-Tachometer-Black/dp/B00UM9WWBE/ref=sr_1_10?s=automotive&ie=UTF8&qid=1451671530&sr=1-10 or Bosch stuff?
  8. looking for a rev counter (pod style) for my NA and found a few i like, seen one by BRIDE but i dont know if its real or not? i cant find much record of them on the internet?? what other brands are good but arent going to break the bank on price and be fairly good? Thanks Dan
  9. yea mines going through abit but not major, at full chat it smokes abit but not to bad, im hoping its stem seals anyway as rings is abit more work!
  10. same haha, got a few bits more pressing that need doing! going to get all the valve stems seals sorted too, and then make sure everything works sweet then get it dynoed, so maybe end of next year some time!
  11. they are fun with just a few handling mods! similar set up to me then i havent got the lightweight flywheel though. wouldnt it need glanza injectors etc for the ecu or can it run on the standard ones? i duno if il look at a Emanage blue or a 4efte ecu depends what the best results come from
  12. would be sweet to find out! what bits do you have on yours? done anything to the fueling system? cant decide if i should go down that route or not?
  13. cheers dude! id like to break the 100bhp mark but theres no Dynos on the Isle of Wight so id have to take a trip to the mainland so i want to be confident it should make that mark or at least get close!
  14. little update on the starlet, got my Panhard rod fitted and adjusted yesterday! (in the pissing rain!) unfortunately the spacers were going on the back but dont fit as the Speedlines dont have a reccess for the hub bolts to go into and dont really want to cut them down in case i want to take the spacers back off! other than that im looking at grabbing some Celica mk6 brake calipers and carriers and throwing them on too to up the stopping power a bit then the induction kit but I've got to make that so il do that at a later date! oo and I've got a new front plate as the old one was de
  15. I've just done mine and it needed adjusting, took about 2 hours i stuck a plumb line on the arch and measured from the line to the edge of the rim, and it was pushed across so needed adjusting
  16. its dropped 40mm so its not miles down, its on springs too not coilovers, so can barely see any difference each side tbh, il do it tomorrow measuring it and then stick it on the aligner at work to be sure
  17. cant you measure the arch to wheel gap and do it that way? and does the car have to be on the ground or can it be done on axle stands?
  18. so the axle has to be at the right ride height?
  19. just before i do it, when you put on a panhard rod, do is have to adjust it then lower the car down and measure each side, or can it be measure when its still in the air?
  20. another little update for the build! as im on holiday I've got time to do some extra bits! got hold of some 20mm spacers off a Yaris from a mate, only the 2 as they didnt have a set of 4 which is a shame but never mind! so they'l be going on as soon as I've got my panhard rod set up, which il do on the ramp at work one day. also got my self a starlet owners air freshner just so everyone knows im part of the team ;) had a Simoni Gravel deep dish steering wheel floating about for a while too which i finally got myself a boss kit for, so theres a possibility that will go on over t
  21. do you need glanza pads aswell to fit the carriers? or will they fit with normal NA pads, (dont know if theres any difference!)
  22. its my daily so doesnt need to be huge stopping ability tbh, but as I've up the power a little and the handling is better it just feels abit lacking in the braking department in comparison, so use glanza carriers and discs to up the stopping power abit?
  23. as above, whats the best performance pads and discs available that will fit standard calipers etc, looked at EBC Greenstuff, but dont know if theyre any good? any good ones?
