Ethan's Starbo GT28 Build - First start up!
Ep82gi replied to Ethanep82's topic in EP80/EP82 Progress Blogs
Nice build man. Nice to see more of us from Chelmsford -
You can do it which ever way you choose but I have on mine two earths from the battery 1 to strut and 1 to body (battery in the boot) and then I made up 3 earth straps from and old amp kit. I run one from the chassis just behind passenger head light to front gearbox mount. Then another from the engine mount to drivers side front strut tower and another from the fire wall to the underside of my Inlet plenum.
-
I would just make your own buddy at least you can get it sitting how you want.
-
I use to have one on my quad bike years ago it never stopped the smell just use to prevent me losing petrol if I flipped it. "Witch I did many times"
-
I would just replace standard earth straps with a thicker cable and run a few secondary earth straps out of sight. In my opinion earth kits just look messy but they do work.

I'll be after a cheap set of 15s in the very near future just asking to see what's about. Post a picture please if you can or pm it to me with a price I'm in Essex but willing to travel for a deal. Thanks

Is it Glanza or gt as I'm sure the gt lambda had a single wire where as the glanza had two
-
Could be two pin on the lambda sensor also. Hmmmm
-
Should be a spare wire off the same part of the loom that's plugs into the thermostat housing should be marginally longer
-
Merry Christmas guys

Advice needed block cracked off with stud for manifold
Ep82gi replied to jackfelixsmith's topic in Intake, Turbo & Exhaust
See this a few times over the years buddy it's not uncommon really. I wouldn't use any form of ally bonding like glues as the manifold is bolted to it and it gets hot and cold frequently and you'll find yourself forever repairing it. there two simple options really. One is to replace the head all together. Or if your insistent on keeping that particular cylinder head for what ever reason take it to your local engineers and they should be able to build the head back up with weld skim the face and re tape and replace the stud. -
Yeah I know sorry bud I posted it on here n though hmm why not ask jay then didn't remove the post hahaha
-
Always thought there was something odd about my rear lights haha now I know just need to fix it now
-
Ahaha fair play man maybe I should look into mine maybe there broke hahahahaha
-
How did you do the twin rear running light mod on the gt?
-
Nice to see somthing totally different I quite like the seats to as there miles away from the standard things people run. Fair play I'll be keeping an eye on this one.
-
Pec automotive stock them iirc
-
Just take the shafts out completely from the hubs buddy you don't have to split them. It will be fine to push around or winch on a trailer
-
Please could someone tell me if the rear wheel bearings for n/a (drum brake) is the same bearings used on the turbo (disc brake) Eps? This would be a great help as I'm trying to stack some parts over Christmas to overhaul my set up in the new year. Thanks. Liam
