Overdue update.... Lots has happend and lots of changes. So a short period after fitting the new turbo kit, Unfortunately my headgasket went and i was burning loads of coolant, I had Funny onion off the forum help me disassemble the head and strip to the block it look like it failed on cylinder 3 as bore was washed. overall everything else looked good, over the coming days i send the head off for a full rebuild new valve stem seals, valves re-seating, carbon removed and a skim. The head was very very slightly warped and 8 thou was removed. While the head was away i decided it would be a -

The information on this is so hard to find, Does anyone have a photo or a description of which wire is the negative one. Or anyone who has wired an OMEX kit in throw me a message. I don't really want to go off the back of the ECU but if I need to I will. Yes I know OMEX is bad! cheers haha

I recently just had my head skimmed and rebuilt with new stem seals and all the valves reseating my head gasket went so got it done while it was off. block is getting done at my mates machine shop

Yeah i bet there is a bit of damage hopefully i dont need a new block but if i do then i guess thats how it needs to be haha!

Looking at running around 280BHP on a TD04 (19-20PSI) , of course i already know about fueling, mapping ect just all the extra goodies for the main build. I wasn't planning on forging however my bottom end went this morning so no other choice really apart from a new engine but would rather forge it! Also normal OEM head gasket or 1.4mm athena gasket? Also do i need valves or am i good with stock? Let me know guys! Cheers
